I grew up watching Bruce Grobbelaar and he was one of my early footballing heroes. Very entertaining as a player and as a character when we we told about his previous life in Southern Africa. I have North African roots (Morocco) and its nice for me to see our brothers from Southern Africa appreciate players like Mohamed Salah and to call him 'an African hero'. Warms my heart actually. Mohamed Salah faced many difficulties in his life also from a small village and almost non-existent material conditions. He worked on himself a lot to become like this, and he never reached Europe easily, so he feels a lot about the conditions of others. I love his story very much. It is a motivator to continue in this life.

He is an absolute gem. One of Liverpool's best signings ever, and that's saying something considering we had Mane, and Firmino in their prime. Individually he has been the best, he's got everything .
