Revathi Maam in the Reigning queen of Tamil cinema... is the most Skillful, artistic among them.. classical dancer, actress, Director, Producer, top Heroine for many years, National award winner, Humanitarian and she did that all with Dignified roles without showing Glamour and without lacking style.. and the only actress who had the opportunity to act for films by 4 Big directors of Indian cinema [Bharathiraja, Balu mahendra, Balachander & Manirathnam].. If you notice closely.. in almost all her films the story actually revolves around Revathi.... heroes become secondary in the story telling. Even Rajini character was shadowed because Revathi played a Blind woman.. in Thevar Magan she played a pivotal role of joining two communities.. and Mouna ragam.. the story is designed for Revathi.. so its hard to find a film where in her character is side lined.. she takes the center stage in all films.. the only other actress who had this credibility is Radhika.
