Ford called out a homophobic response to a Ranger Raptor video last year by creating the real-life “Very Gay Raptor”. Ever since, Ford has been proudly using its toughest nameplate to redefine what “tough” actually means. Now, the Next-Gen Ranger Raptor is picking up the torch in Ford’s mission to work side-by-side with the automotive industry and LGBTQ+ community to drive out discrimination.

Your dad made a decision solely based on the color of a truck (which he has an option of selecting) and a minute long ad that showcases absolutely nothing about the truck (except that it is driving offroad)? My buddy keeps bishin about how these new gen Tundras keep coming in with Turbo problems (peds, bearings, blown, etc). They're nice trucks, but they need some stuff sorted still. I'll continue to drive my old 7.3 and 6.0 --- still haven't found anything I love. The 19 Platty Tundra and 19 Ram 1500 LongHorn were wonderful trucks - LOVED THEM BOTH (ride quality and cabin space were unmatched) - but they were too nice for my day to day life.

My husband is bedridden and will never drive again. I tried selling his 2002 ford Explorer. No one would buy it. I found out in excellent condition it was only worth $1,000. Ended up selling it to a salvage yard for $300. At the same time, I discovered my 1993 Chevy Silverado 1500 pick up is worth over $11,000. But I wouldn’t sell it at any price. Best vehicle we’ve ever owned!!!

Last year my '18 Tacoma was still worth 32k on KBB with 60+k miles. And I think the Rangers are selling high new because they resemble the Tacoma off the bat...but 5,7,10 years down the line it's almost guaranteed that the Fords will be the less worthy purchase. After the commercial. They went straight back to the paint booth. Took all that nasty paint off and gave it a real paint job. So they could actually sell it.
That got me laughing.
Love their products from the Mustang & F- Series of trucks. I own both, I hope I don't have to buy another vehicle any time soon. If I do, I'll be definitely looking at their competiton for another options.
