We were absolutely shocked he put that up as a serious video. I sat down shortly after and re-listened to it and provided responses to much of what he has stated. After listening to this, I am not impressed with you MadeByJimbob. Solipsism is idiocity, when they fail to counter an argument we make they pull the solip card and go "haha checkmate" despite not realising how idiotic it is

You exist therefore information exists. Every atom in the universe is information. Logic is a process by which we discover, investigate and confirm assumptions or theories about that information.
LOL so he was just going to go into a misunderstanding for that so he left it out.
1. Every atom in the universe is information. Wrong, information is data+semantics. An atom doesn’t have within its structure the information “atom”. Information is never identical to the matter it’s attributed to. 2. Logic is a process through which we discover. Incorrect, if a process precedes discovery then the process itself must be discovered, which assumes in this case what’s in question, logic. The laws of logic are not in themselves processes.

I will be addressing your assertion on Wednesday. “Theists get befuddled” isn’t a counter to my position, I’ll say it again, Information is never identical to the matter or phenomena it’s attributed to. Now, if you disagree with the statement, tell me one instance where information is identical to the referent. No need to do a psychological analysis of the theist.

Jimbo also freely slanders other faith la like when he claimed Buddhism is dualistic and has no morals when the Buddhist word for ethics is literally termed " foundation (sila)' and they have many teachings they label " non dualistic '

I am 100% not a philosopher nor would I pretend to be. However, when Christians start down this path, I simply pointed out the multitude of examples from their own Bible where God provided *EMPIRICAL* evidence of his existence. If their god could do it 3000+ years ago, why not today?

@redwojak5182 god doesn't even play by his own rules. He gave tons of commandments and then told his people to do things that violated said commandments. God also talked a lot about forgiveness, but where was his forgiveness before he flooded the earth? Plagued all of Egypt for 1 man's actions? The tribes he had slaughtered? Gods list of hypocrisy is long.

Just my subjective experience, but I've yet to see anyone beat jimbob or especially Jay Dyer in a debate on the subject... I've sure seen a lot of 'response videos' to them though... I'm newer to Jimbob so it's possible, but Dillahunty was way out of his league with Jay, and Dr Malpass could barely keep up but was noticeably the best opponent so far. My recommendation to atheists is to actually learn TAG if you wanna make the critique. It's shocking how few people are able to grasp it.

There claim is there metaphysical god is physical because it is metaphysically possible , the imagined/ metaphysical is real /physical.
Are you saying broad logical possibility or nomological possibility?
@@realBreakfasttacos sorry I don't know what that means , they don't get that metaphysics is thought not the physical and you can't think some thing into the physical world . Philosophy is like word spells if they can logically prove a god is possible using metaphysics and philosophy hey presto could be therefore is . At the end of the day the omni god is a self contradiction . Can do every thing except some some things some times all is gods will except for the bad bits . The list is endless .
@@odinallfarther6038 Metaphysics is not synonymous with non-physical or supernatural. Metaphysics is simply speculation about natural reality that goes beyond what scientific investigation can currently confirm. It is a far reaching branch of philosophy.
