i do both. I use doulingo for vocabulary and basic grammar and watch this channel to fill in the gaps and learn the parts that doulingo doesn't teach

Duolingo is useful for building your grammar "database". It's getting built overtime even if you don't feel the changes, just keep practicing.

And also I'd like to comment that it's infixes since it's in the middle of the word. They are all called affixes and they could be prefix, infix or suffix. Infixes are not common in English language. I discovered it recently in one of my classes

Никогда не говори "некогда" когда учишься и будет тебе знание. Не и ни больная тема у многих - не или ни, слитно или раздельно. Некому делать работу. Не кому, а чему! Никому, лишь ему одному. Не к кому пойти. (на слух слитно)

I don't understand why it cant be "Я люблю выграть", Выгровать means "to be winning", so Я люблю выграть suppose to mean I like to win.

Выиграть - это результат. Выигрывать - это процесс. Я люблю победы. Я люблю выигрывать.
Выиграть - это настоящее время
You can say "Я хочу выиграть!" [I want to win], but you can't say "Я люблю выиграть!" [I love to win] because the word "выиграть" means a single instance of winning and not the winning in general! Therefore we have the form "выигрывать" which means to win continiously. So if you say "Я хочу выигрывать!", it means to win not only now, but to win over and over again, to be a winner in perspective.
