Full Makeup Collection Declutter 2024

Hi everyone! Today I’m going to be going through my full makeup collection and pulling out a few items to declutter that I realized really do not work for me. Overall, it’s a small declutter but I’m happy with the results and even gained some points towards my low buy!
1 item or pan of makeup decluttered = 1 low buy point in my makeup bank.

You know you took the words right out of my mouth. My eyes are drawn towards the greeny grunge but they are usually too warm and it doesn’t translate well with me. I need cooler tones. The gray purple gloss in the end. What company was that. The one you liked.
I’ll have to double check and get back to you! It’s a brand I’d never heard of before it was gifted to me. I would suggest trying to do some grungy looks with grays and purples, I’ve found I really like the way those look and you can “punk them up” when you want that edge to your makeup.

I would love to have such a curated collection, do you feel like there is anything your missing within your collection? I have a huge collection and it is overwhelming. But at times I think I'd miss such variety. I am working on finding a balance and it is hard.
Only sometimes! The main things I feel like I’m missing is a little more blush variety and more eyeshadow colors that are really suited to my skin tone. For the longest time I only bought eyeshadow because LOOKING at it made me feel good but that doesn’t always coordinate with what I actually enjoy wearing. As time goes on I want to expand the variety of makeup I have that “checks all the boxes” so to speak. I’d have to say though for the most part I really feel okay with the amount I have. Even if I don’t have the exact item or color that I want, I can generally create something that suits my mood regardless with what I have. It’s really made me realize just how little I think I’d be really happy with. Everyone is on their own journey though! Your collection has endless options and really is just that - a collection! If you’re not looking at every item as if you’re one day going to use it all up I think it would be easier for you to just enjoy it all and less overwhelming! 💕
