Rimac is more relevant then any other brand atm since they have a large share in bugatti now and make the hypercars of the future and W motors isnt relevant at all atm
What I love about McLaren is that they don’t try to shoot you away from the car you want to buy if you have the money unlike Ferrari

ssc never made a good car. the ultimate aero was a piece of shit that almost spontaneously disassembled running its top speed. it was just an engine with wheels just to claim they had a speed record. then the fakery with their new world record bullshit. it shouldn't even be in the list.

I’m going to have to completely disagree with you on one of the ranks there. You put W motors over Pagani, I think Thats the wrong call there. Yes pagani hasn’t given us a car in a while but Thats the business they’re in, they’re not out to create numerous cars like all the other companies. The Huyra is definitely starting to get old but each one of then has something special to it. W motors never demonstrates their cars, claims that they can go 240 miles per hour but has never shown it on video. Uses a 911 engine and thinks it's okay to charge 3.4 million dollars for a car lol with bad diamonds in the headlight and weird digital screen. I recommend watching Vehicles Virgins video on the car. When have we seen any Fenyr or Hypersport anywhere else outside of Dubai? At least Pagani are all over the world. Thats just my take and opinion though. Still great video. Liked!
I just think W Motors is more relevant right now, you give me a new Pagani model (not a special edition of a TEN year old car) and they're right back up in the top 5. But like, who is talking about Pagani right now? No one. Yes, the W's are kinda shady, but I do love their attitude as a brand, over the top and overpriced. I wouldn't buy one but I respect they're going for a certain vibe. I always appreciate the feedback though!
@@IdealMediaChannel Half of the people I've talked to about hyper/supercars don't even know who W Motors is. But all of them knew Pagani, No way is W Motors more relevant. If the Hypersport wasn't in Fast and Furious, the brand wouldn't be here on this list. I do sort of agree with you on how Pagani hasn't made a new model in a while but have you ever took time to just look at the piece of art on wheels? look at the interior, it's beautiful, all the handmade pieces, hand stitched leather, and it's a carbon fiber heaven. W Motors doesn't even compare to what a Pagani is. Also, why? just why? Why would you put Mclaren in front of Koenissegg? worst decision ever. Everything else was great, loved it.

The Saleen is cool but I believe it uses a 9.5" deck height Ford Racing 351W based block with traditional inline valves. That leaves alot of power on the table (at least for the NA version) I think it would be cool to install an FR9 Cup engine and leave it naturally aspirated. Add some stroke to it to make 427 inches, take some cam out of it and make 850 NA streetable hp. As the Saleen is delivered, it seems SO easy to upgrade as it uses traditional SBF Windsor style components.
I think Porsche deserved a Place in the list they have the 959, Carrera GT,918 Spyder ,GT3RS, GT2RS, GT4 and the new 992 911 turbo S is mental The new GT3 and Tycan are pretty insane too. But nonetheless enjoyed the vid

Personally, I feel as though Koenigsegg should have taken the top spot, because time after time they manage to reinvent the term ‘Hypercar’ as well as be the most prominent company to be able to rival Bugatti
True, they did set a speed record with the One:1 and the Agera, but McLaren set one too of 221-243mph with the f1, it also remains the fastest naturally aspirated car in the world, so I would move Koenigsegg down to 2nd place and move Lamborghini up to 3rd place, just my opinion
Koenigsegg set 2 top speed records. Lamborghini, mclaren, and Ferrari dominate track records and are way more attainable and practical. Also Koenigsegg sucks at the 2 things you would be able to actually do with your supercars. Drag race and track times. Mclaren, Lamborghini, and Ferrari destroy Koenigsegg at both. (High horsepower isn't a good thing if the car has no grip

@Daniel Vipin regera also isn't that good on a drag strip. To much power into the rear wheels. In rolling races yes, in a dig which is what most people do, every other supercar company has Koenigsegg beat.
The Noble engine is not a Volvo engine per se, but a Yamaha developed one. Yamaha also helped develop the simply brilliant V10 that you can find in the Lexus LFA and its musical instrument division tuned the exhaust note for that gorgeous sounding exhaust. Although there is a Volvo badge on the XC90 V8, it's Yamaha that did the heavy lifting.
McLaren is definitely my favorite brand! I was never really into cars until I saw a beautiful McLaren 720s. That is definitely my dream car but I heard they have a lot of issues and some owners say they spend more time in the shop than on the road. Which is a little discouraging. Hopefully they step it up before I can afford one, which should give them a lot of time.

@@Enola_Straight They are very well known to be in the shop more often than on the road. Super expensive repairs and maintenance as well.
What really sucks is they they are completely unreliable and at the same time known as the most friendly exotic car dealers out there. They're big on giving everybody the time of day and showing them around even if you're a broke college kid. Such a shame they can't make reliable vehicles.
@@Parker-- So true! On my 18th birthday I went to a McLaren dealership to see my dream car in person for the first time and they not only revved the engine for me, but also let me sit in it. I really hope they improve the reliability!

@@MrTresto What!? Not even remotely close to being true. They haven't shared integral characteristics or components since Series 3 was introduced a decade ago in 2012. Different engines, suspension, supercharged, aero/design, price range, practicality, etc. Substantially different cars for different intended uses as the wide performance difference indicates. A lot more engineering than just slapping a roof atop an Elise went into making the Gen 3 Exige (likely the most well known Exige variant based on some US sales figures). Maybe in a different era it'd be closer to being the case but no, a modern Exige is not an Elise.

How did you not put Porsche in there? Some of their offerings may not be quite as insane as a Lambo or a McLaren, but at the top of their line-ups, their cars are beating records left and right while looking like the perfect mix of iconic and up-to-date. If the 918 alone isn't enough to put them at the top of this list, you're just sleeping on the best there is.

One car after I return to the US will be working very hard to buy is a hurrican. Fun, fast, comfortable, and actually can work as an everyday car all while still being a supercar and even rival speeds and performance of hyper cars. Then one of the few supercars that one could realistically take to 500k or more miles on the odometer without worrying about huge and massive bills to keep the car running and able to do so. Granite that's not doing heavy modding to the car either. But for me I love the car just the way it is minus the audio which I'd switch out for a focal system. But other then that can't see myself wanting to change anything about the car. Since it's already insanely fast and want to keep it for a very long time well over 500k miles.

i love saleens all the time in the crew 2 whenever i play and do a hyper car race i have to choose a saleen, it’s just so nostalgic to me i can’t be the only one who chooses the saleen s7 glacier edition because it reminds me of one of those old-school retro games were that was an option
I remember seeing a McLaren for the first time in a forza motorsport game when I was younger & just fell in love. From that point on to this day my dream is to own one. I was lucky enough to get a track day with a Senna last year. Didn't get to drive but pictures of that car doesn't do it justice. The most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Was crazy to ride around in it. I would have put Koenigsegg in second & pagani higher up but other than that list was great.

From a design standpoint, the lines of the cars clash into each other, they use hard angles and smooth curves interchangeably etc. Their cars are over designed messes that appeal to flashy people, and those who don't understand basic design, or aerodynamics.
Pagani is one of the most beautiful and high performance supercars evermade. They are easily top 5. Hennessy placement is embarrassing as to date, they have never released a car that they designed from the ground up.

@@shaneducholke364 the only reason he probably listed Hennessy so high is because they tune a whole bunch of cars to produce 900-1000 horsepower. They also make ridiculous builds you can check out on their website. I do wish pagani was up there too because of their history beef with Lamborghini

Love that my favorite car brand since childhood is in the top 3. The Bull never disappoints.
For me, Pagani would be an absolute overall monster if they constructed their own engine. For me, tunning someone else's engine makes some of these super cars high-end kitcars. For me, Koenigsegg is my favorite hypercar company. Even over Bugatti. If Pagani designs their own engine, it'll skyrocket them to the top.

yeap agreed my desires of sports cars changed very dramatically back before Japanese Cars was all the hail and fame and people knew about it but then it went from GTR R 34 to GTR R35 Premium to Lamborghini Aventador and then suddenly my desires changed to McLaren P1 oddly enough i love that car if i wanted to own a Exotic car it will be McLaren 720S almost the same performance as a P1 its pretty and cheaper too
I think a Zenvo has gotten their act together as of recent. They’re giving the TS1 and TSR cars bigger production runs, and they fixed the ventilation issue that the original ST1 had which caused the fire. So, no more fires.
They should be placed higher than W Motors

Lamborghini may not be the fastest, but I think it's the definition of a supercar probably the first super car you loved in primary school. McLaren looks a bit formal but I respect their performance and tech, it's like an astonmartin that went to the gym. Theres some essence with its logo the agressive bull and, their engines, it personifies them-having a soul not an engine like AMGs. Eggs and rens are cool but if I had the money I'd go for a lambor.
I'm sorry but Koenigsegg is #1 by far. The engineering that goes into them. The way they produce new technologies and put them in their cars is just unbelievable. Every other manufacturer dies things the exact same way all the others do it. Koenigsegg is thinking outside of the box and are amazing they are my favorite and the best Hypecar manufacturer in the world

I don’t care what anyone says, the Koeniggsegg’s are the most insane Hypercar on the planet. They have out-engineered every other Hypercar. They are also designed to be accessible and to run on e85. Plus there’s the multiple world records. That has to mean something. No other company can say that (and not break down every 3k miles….yes you Bugatti). So there’s my two bits.

I agree with almost every spot except I would have chosen the Eggs as number one and McLaren as second place. Reason for that is what Christian has done in a really short amount of time with the brand is absolutely incredible! Even after a total write off of the company from a fire back in the beginning. The Jesko and holding the top speed record BOTH DIRECTIONS LoL they have done amazing stuff in a short span and it's all a small business. I think that's pretty cool

To be fair, that engine in the Noble which is "from a Volvo" is more accurately described as a 4.4L, 641bhp, twin turbo Yamaha V8...
My number one is definitely Porsche. The Carrera GT is arguably the greatest supercar ever made and the 959 and 918 are are as sophisticated as an F22 Raptor. Plus, 911s have been dominating in racing for the last 50+ years and old ones are worth insane money for a reason. Their history, heritage and overall quality are unmatched in the sports car world. It is absurd seeing brands like W Motors, Saleen and SSC instead of Porsche, RUF or Weismann, and not to mention Mercedes who pretty much invented the supercar in 1954 with the Gullwing.

i personally love the lamborghini Urus. one of the best looking SUVs i have ever seen.
I believe the engine in the volvo xc 90, if it's the V8 that is, is made of Yamaha, and it has a special firing patern, so it sounds diffrent from any other V8. Just like the I4 R1 engine in their bike are diffrent from any other I4. Tho both the i4 and V8 needs a balancing shaft to cope with the vibrarion of the uneven firing.
I’d say it would never happen, but it would be cool to see performance based list of super cars as rated by a handful of professional drivers on a well known, baseline track. My guess is most of these manufacturers wouldn’t really like to see how their production cars stack up to one another in the real world.
Look up "Hot Version" or "Top Gear laps"
I mean do some research on the Nurburgring or Pikes Peak or Brands Hatch and you will probably find what you’re looking for

I really loved McLaren! I am not a car enthusiast or anywhere knowledgeable with cars but the first time I 550S it was loved at first sight, I really loved the McLaren brand. Im glad I get to see it in the list Ranked 1 on top of that! I kept watching and hoping it gets ranked atleast top 10.

i figured out that i saw this video too late because i just cannot phantom putting W motors (more like L bodykit) over Pagani saying that they haven't made a unique car in a long time. they recently showed off some amazing looking pagani's on goodwood this year and they quite genuinely are one of the most beautiful cars to come out of 2022. W motors on the other hand havent even shown anything since that F&F movie.
If I could own an exotic car (and had the cash flow to keep it running), I would pick a Lamborghini Espada. I prefer the styling of old cars, it has that lovely original V-12 that Giotto Bizzarrini designed, and it's low key(ish) rather than showoff-ey. I don't have the driving skill for a full on road weapon, so a comfortable GT would make me smile.
no body can use a supercars full performance on the public roads, unless the owner is a peice of shit that doesnt care about killing innocent people, or you live in the australian outback where you can drive for an hour without seeing another car. Most supercars are based in congested major urban cities like london or Dubai, you cant hit 50mph before your at the next set of traffic lights, and your surrounded by traffic police cameras. Obviously people dont by supercars to go fast, they buy them to drive around cities, soaking up attention, whilst making the owner feel "special".
Pagani should have been higher on the list imo, it might not have that many new cars, but still, they're a legend in the supercar community, one of their cars is probably in almost every racing game you can play, its an amazing brand.
I was so disappointed 😔 when the McLaren speed tail was launched 😞 Here is why I was disappointed: The speed tail cost $2.25 Mil, has 1036 hp, released in 2018, topspeed is 250 MP/H and still slower than a $1.9 Mil a decade and 7 year old, 1001 hp, 253 MP/H Veyron The Speed tail has more tech, more power, more aerodynamic, more efficient but still slower than a 17 year old 1001 hp $1.9 Mil Bugatti Veyron.

Just not really an exotic car brand to me anymore. They're closer to Mercedes Benz and BMW than they are to Ferrari and Lamborghini.

Sure they make a couple SUVs but they actually saved the company so we can still get their amazing sports cars. Did you know there's about 20 different variants of the 911 alone? LaFerrari, Porsche 930-Turbo, Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, McLaren Speedtail, etc…hips and haunches, curves and allure. I can see a woman calling herself “Pagani”, or “Huyra”. But these other super companies need to at least name their cars with. exotic women in mind.

Their first ever car was in 2011, and 99% of the issues are on that first car (MP4-12C). The only reason the rumor doesn't die is that people like to act like they don't have a McLaren because "reliability" (it's actually "don't have the money"), and so many KZheadrs that make videos of their "unreliable" McLaren are mortgaging their house to buy an 11 year old MP4-12C with all the issues since they are technically the most "affordable". McLaren's are very reliable now - on par with Ferrari. Lamborghini might now be a little more reliable in general, but then it's basically a boring Audi underneath (before the VW/Audi purchase of them, they were one of the least reliable of any car).

McLarens are notoriously infamous for being under constant repair and maintenance. Koenigsegg must've been on the top spot for their overbuilt powertrain .

The T.50 is most definitely a blend of the McLaren F1, and subtly, a Pagani Huayra.
And even the car Gordon based it on, the current Alpine A110. Kinda much like how the F1 was based on the older NSX.

Super proud of it too. I actually worked on the cars that really put them on the map. The M12 GTO and the M400. They were actually built out in South Africa in the early 2000's and fitted with Super charged Ford V6 engines. Cheap,low tech but viciously powerful because of the light body and it handled like a dream . Lee Noble had a gift.

if there's something i realized over the years, is that if you buy a super car and it feels like a comfortable fast car, you made a shitty purchase. driving your toy needs to feel like an occasion. it can't be something mundane. taking points off radical for that is pretty damn stupid because they nail what a super car is.

I notice one thing about super cars. The only thing you can do with them is burnouts in a straight line. And even that usually ends up in a crash. On the other hand, I can legally race where ever I go, with the car I own. You really look cool in a super car. I really have fun driving my car.

Thats why people buy Porsche, it is faster than most super cars and are so tame a normal person can drive them without crashing. If I had 3x my money my MX-5 would be a Boxter or even a Cayman. One thing people forget about is that those "exotic" brands make cars that are parked most of their time, while brands like Porsche makes cars that are Driven every day by their buyers.
I am shocked Gordon Murray wasn’t higher but I’m sure you’d move him up if this was made today. 2 models on the horizon and is a modern, but classic super car.
the thing with Mclaren is, they don't feel like a car brand. I don't know how to put it but somehow, Ferrari and Lamborghini feel more like car barnds if you put them on a scale. Its the same deal as how Tesla is viewed compared to other sports/luxry brands like BMW Audi and Mercedes.
