BMW Z3 Getting It's First Wash After Sitting For 3 Years!

Another beautifully spec'd out 90's BMW that's been left behind to rot and has found its way to my shop! This '98 Z3 Roadster has been sitting outside under a tarp since 2018 due to loss of interest and some minor mechanical issues. Alas, the owner finally started to feel bad watching it rot away and dropped it off with papa Aidan to give it the TLC it so desperately deserves.
After scrubbing off the years of grime, I quickly noticed how rough the paint still was underneath all of the filth. A disaster for some, but a perfect recipe for what I love to do. Stay tuned for the next video where I scrape the top layer of dead skin off this paint and bring it back to it's former glory!

  • Great job as usual! Can’t wait for the buff and polish of this beauty! My mom used to own a silver one, 2.3 straight-6, with the two-piece BMW branded BBS wheels. The previous owner was the CEO of Manhart, Günter Manhart, who passed away a couple of years ago. Everything was legal on the car, strict regulations here in Germany. Nevertheless, the tires were rubbing like hell 😂

  • Look into getting the water tarp mats that you drive you car onto and the water stay in a confined ish area, or a stopper so the water doesnt go too far into the shop. Easier clean up!

  • Bought a used 328i coupe 6 months ago..great deal...very nice drive. Then a few months later...saw a Red Z3 at a local parking lot! I couldn't take my eyes off of it. Gotta have it! ( People have been asking me what I want for Christmas...Ha..are they in for a shock!) Maybe next summer. Maybe my crypto will work out. ( Hey, gotta hope, ya know.)

    • @@LouisLuzuka funny you should ask, I was just at their retail store in Tacoma where they’re based out of, just picked up the G8 and G9 polisher combo. All of their pads and waxes/polishes are great, really like their leather products and tire shine as well. The ceramic 3 in 1 is unmatched compared to any other product I’ve used. Can’t go wrong with anything they put out

    • @@LouisLuzuka I sell wheels and watching Aidens videos put me onto the idea of paint correcting wheels. I did a paint correction on my Dodge 2500 over the summer using griots pads and 3 in 1 polish/wax and it worked great. Very happy with all my purchases from Griots
