Wheel of Time Inspired Blade - Forging a Heron Mark Blade - Part 2 - Guard and Pommel
In this Episode, I forge the guard and pommel. I slit and drift the Guard close to fitting onto the tang of the sword and then file the slot until it almost fits up fully. After shaping the pommel I drill a hole for the very end of the tang to fit through and mill a slot in the pommel so it will fit snug over the shoulders of the tang.

This is by far my favorite project. Are you doing the heron mark and making a scabbard? Dressing up as Lan and showing us how it handles? This project needs more videos.
Heron mark and a special incription etched in the blade! I will definitely show how it handles but I dont have a cosplay wardrobe so shop clothes will have to do!
If I knew how to use a sword I would soooooo pay for one of these
