In the second episode Stig will attempt the most dangerous challenge yet. He will try and break his own World Record of HOLDING his breath underwater for over 22 minutes. As a warm up to his breathtaking record attempt Stig freedives with sharks and crocodiles on the unspoilt reefs of Cuba where he introduces the history of freediving, and where he gives an insight of the importance of yoga and meditation, for him to be able to break world records.
Throughout the show, Stig contributes to a whole new world of scientific research by allowing scientists to test and evaluate what happens to his body under the extreme physical and mental stress.

  • Wow. This is such an incredible feat. I hope Steve remains happy to settle with his 22 minute World Record Dive as it's not worth risking his life to better it when noone comes within 2 minutes of bettering it. Kudos to this superhuman effort ..I feel this record will stand for a very long time yet.

  • The free divers off the Philippine islands can go 12 minutes 90 feet down while walking and holding a speer, a bag of big fish, looking out for tiger sharks trying to take his catch or leg. Try that. Not a hope. What he needs to do is do some sort of exercise relax then try it. Makes sense to me. Then he'll have loads of oxygen flying around and wait till its settling, then go for it!!
