Birdwatching Tourists in Mexico Get Stopped by Gunmen

Two birdwatchers expected a quiet vacation taking photos of tropical wildlife, so nothing prepared them for the nightmare they experienced in Mexico. Aaron Payzant and Logan Howard were driving from Indiana to Cancun. They were on a back road looking for birds to photograph when out of nowhere, a truck raced past, and gunmen lept out and approached the car. Luckily for the Americans, the gunmen reassured them that they weren’t in danger, but warned them not to go further down the road.

Then the kidnappers called his family from Mexico and demanded his family in the US give them a few thousand dollars in a few days or they would kill him. Thankfully the dude's family was able to get the money rly fast and they were able to get him back. The same thing happened but to this other lady in my mom's town except her kid was 4.
