Probably a little late but how did you take out the sunroof visor? cant seem to get it because it riveted in.
There’s screws that need to come up on the top side of the rails. Little hard to reach so I left it in then painted it
Hey so I just bought an Is and half of it was interior swapped to black, it was originally tan. The back of the interior and seats are fully tan, I’m buying all the parts but. My question is. Does every regular stock black interior lexus is300 come with grey or tan headliner? I’m asking because I’m looking for the back c pillar trim panels in black online but I can’t find them anywhere. Is it because none of them were made in black stock?

Did you remove the old fabric on the headliner or just placed the new fabric on top ?
Nope on this car you can lay it directly on top
about a year ago i wrapped my a and b pillars with the black micro suede the only reason im not wrapping my headliner is that the black fades and it becomes brown like color? is there a specific brand you used?
I got mine off Amazon. I don’t think it’ll fade brown. Maybe a lighter black if anything!
@@natespec i got mine off ebay and i wrapped all the pillars in my car and in about 3 months they became like a dark brown color but i dont have any tints in my windows and i was parking outside everyday during summer in cali
Ahhh. Would definitely get some tint should help out a ton 👍🏽
A year later, how does it look now? Thinking of wrapping the plastic pieces on mine but how does it look on your's now after painting?
Looks great. The high use areas like the garage door opener, sunroof plastic handle have some paint chipping off but other than that no fading or anything

Off the top of my head I believe I just pulled it off. I do remember it being a pain but I’m pretty sure you just pull it off. I think there’s a wire coming from it so be careful when yanking it

Airbags are all plugged back in in normal fashion, the material will not limit the airbags either

@@natespecthe link for the fabric in the description is not the same as this, I bought the one in the description and it is not suede so it's not as cool. And it was more expensive ..
