  • Me and a friend visited there maybe 10+ years ago. Cool place and the staff was generous enough to let us walk around and see the many animals. My friend had worked for many pet and aquatic stores, worked for a few of the major aquatic and marine wholesalers for many years and now he breeds tarantulas. Thank you guys for giving us the experience!

  • Imagine you are 20 ft long and spending your life in a cage 30" x 32" x 10" I had a 2 albino tiger pythons. 14 and 18 ft long. I let them out on the front lawn during Summer every night. During the day they would swim in our pool (not every day but, more often than not) It's amazing to watch how active they are and how they love to "stretch their legs". Their intelligence is something else as well. They're problem solvers. These creatures are amazing in every sense of the word. Breeding facilities as this should banned. Yup I just said all that..

  • This is a real good thing to see of WHAT NOT TO DO with dangerous animals in my opinion. Taking your eyes off a dangerous animal for the sake of a video is nothing short of crazy. The snakes bit him, then nearly bit 3 more times, then nearly bites the camera man, then nearly bites the guy with the paper towels while the pro has his back turned on the snake again and then his daughter turns her back to pass and she nearly gets bitten. I compare this to a video of bad gun safety video where one would say "don't point a gun at anything you don't intend to destroy" then point the gun at the camera man so they can see the gun.

  • This is the most reckless disregard of safety I've ever seen on any program. This host should be riding the commentating desk and not touching the animals. He makes it look like he's never learned how to handle a large snake, not only did he get bit IN THE FACE just a few minutes both he and his daughter were snapped at several times. Everytime the snake would lung or moved at all, he would freak out and practically tossed the reptile away. Three times in under ten minutes you can hear the huge metal bang from the table as the two snakes skulls smacked into it with at least enough force to give a concussion. Sure, good positive uppity personality- Use it to host/commentate. Leave their handling to someone who is not going to endanger them.

      @stefan514@stefan5142 жыл бұрын
    • @@hugo1283 you realize that animals are primarily driven by instincts. Until we know otherwise they mostly just eat, sleep and mate. If they cared about where they lived or having unlimited space or if they were too bored or not I could understand the outrage. There are some animals with higher level intelligence such as octopus and cuddle-fish where I would consider a small containment animal cruelty but these animals get to live a much longer healthier life without competition or predators or whatever cruel shit nature throws at them constantly. The mistake you and many other people make are projecting your human emotions onto an animal that doesn't have that kind of brain power. If you were this snake in a glass container you would have 0 thoughts about anything other than sleep, drink, mate. I love animals even more than people and can assure you nature is far crueler and evil than a pampered life with a constant food supply and great care. I mean he even explains how one bad egg would destroy an entire clutch in the wild... he's literally saving babies
