The King of Kung Fu is back on your screens! The most titled Wushu Sanda fighter in the world, Muslim Salikhov, today will show our viewers his incredible and crushing striking technique.
After several outstanding performances at M-1 Challenge tournaments, where Muslim demonstrated his power, he went to perform in various global promotions. And he also entered the arena of Kunlun Fight MMA tournaments in China, the country where he gained worldwide fame, becoming the owner of the honorary title of King of Kung Fu. We bring to your attention the fight after which Salikhov was signed to the UFC, and now you will understand why.
And Muslim’s opponent was the once thunderous UFC lightweight, American Melvin Gillard, who had 22 fights in the Octagon, and in total during his career he had 54 professional fights, of which he knocked out his opponents 21 times and was ready to test his striking skills in a fight against a formidable and titled Russian fighter.

    • Я в Дагестане живу и то впервые про него узнал. Если ему так нужна реклама, то это дело его менеджеров... Кто виноват, что он не знаменит? Есть Камил Гаджиев, есть, чеченская лига, им тогда тоже предъявляй, что его не пиарят. Мне думается, что Салихов сам все делает как ему надо. В Китае видно, что его знают. Волк Хана тоже особо не знали.

  • He set him up nice for that K O! A hard spinning back kick will make one drop their hands to block another, so Salikhov went to the head with the spinning hook kick. Salikhov's technique is so clean he could have ended it with either kick.

  • The crazy thing is a few moments earlier in the fight he did a spinning roundhouse and his opponent blocked low mistakingly but his foot whistled past his face. Now the second spinning roundhouse landed with full impact to the face and again the opponent blocked low with his hands. He must've processed that and told himself let me set that up again a bit later.

  • Expression and attitude of the American fighter looked like his mind was not in fighting; the opposite occurred with the Russian one, his countenance, look and attitude seemed totally different. That of someone who went to fight.
