I truly respect the pilot in command as he is a great teacher/trainer for his first officers. He is giving to these pilots all his experience and knowledge. They are learning from the best.! Lastly, he makes flying safer and more fun for the passengers.
Feel always refreshed after watching a full flight cockpit video. Whenever i feel a bit drowsy i watch these kind of videos and the cockpit conversation with flight control always helps me to be alert trying to listen. The complicated take off and the landing checks are very nice to watch for a layman person like me. Thanks for sharing this.

I love the A380 but my heart goes out to Boeing 747-400 and 747-800. I have had the pleasure of flying in the 747 and it, in my opinion, still remains the "Queen of the Sky". A very quiet and humble captain and senior first officer. Excellent work on the video. Keep it coming!!!
I’ve watched quite a lot of these videos and I’m amazed at their standard of English. I know you have to speak English to ATC but it’s the way they can explain all the aircraft systems so well too. I did a-level Spanish but there’s no way I could match most of these pilots. Most British people can’t speak English as well as them 😂
English is the leveller I guess. Commonality in process and commonality in language make life easier

i feel jealous cause i was born later and haven't lived during the time "Concorde" was flying but lucky to witness the mighty A380 in person one day this aircraft won't be seen in the skies anymore and we will be telling stories to kids about it ^^

As awesome as this landing was I don't think there was anything better than arrival at Hong Kong when they were still using the old Kai-Tak airport...landing so close to the city and mountains was an awesome experience.
I hope to try a a380 one day although I flew on a 747 once and enjoyed it. I don't know how they may compare.
Seeing people putting their laundry on the balcony ABOVE the aircraft on finals was quite something.

Nothing but admiration for all Air Crew as I simply could not take in all of those instructions by Air Controllers whose speech is suspect to myself. I flew on A380 London Heathrow to Singapore non-stop, and have nothing but praise for the Aircraft. Sadly, I no longer am able to travel by Air, so it is doubly sad to hear that the A380 is no longer being built, so many others will never experience the Comfort of this Aircraft in their lives. I am sure that the Wright Brothers never envisaged this procedure the Flight Crew would inherit in the future!!!!!

Yes, it does take some time to get off the ground but this team made sure that you will arrive safely at your destination. Great work Captain and Co-Captain Check and double-check your instruments and check with your first officer always. This is not a biplane. Much love to our pilots and to our ground crews!

i live near the airport which will take me only 5 mins by walking, but sometimes we often climb the coconut tree for short cut which will take only 2 mins to get there. during my younger years the airport was our playground after school since it is not a bz airport back then. thats where i grew up until i graduated in my university, therefore i always wanted to fly and travel around the world. always id like to work in the aviation industry bt never materialized . that is why i appreciate pilots a lot and everytime i see pilot i salute them. now i get to travel many countries in europe where it was always my dream. and now my other dream is to fly with A380 one day. thank you for sharing the cockpit with those wonderful pilots and it was nice flying with them. i really had a great time watching them navigating till they land in hongkong. thank you.

I'm a lifelong aviation enthusiast and I'm resuming PPL training after the pandemic tapers off. I was going to just be a hobby pilot on the side separate from my current career but watching videos like this gives me a yearning and makes me wonder if I'm going down the wrong career path. I'm 25 now so maybe it's not too late to make a major career change.
Definitely not. Now is the tome. I was a novice Cessna flyer and C 141 Air Force mechanic. I loved flying but due to a visual defect & financial responsibilities & college I dropped out of the loop since 1985 and worked for transit authority and city hospitals as electrician , truck driver and instructor. It was very rewarding but not as fulfilling as piloting. Have fun. I retired but only flu as pax now and only appreciate what current pilots do. I had many buddies who were fighter, test and a few commercial pilots. If you have the passion pursue your dream. It ain't easy.

A380 is the best plane, so quiet inside, super stable in the air, very smooth take off, and so much modern technology, even the doors open electrically with no effort for the crew.

Somebody mentioned that they were not all that popular, but I think it is more where they can fly and some routes probably wouldn't support an A380 anyway. My sister and her husband flew from Miami to France on an Air France A380. Nice aircraft for sure.
