In India, 8 out of 10 people above 40 years, have cardiovascular disease like high BP and this plus high cholesterol can cause a vessel block , which increases gradually as the Doctor says. With steady buildup of cholesterol in the blood vessel wall the high Bp erodes the cholesterol buildup in the wall, (as the buildup lies in the path of fast flowing blood) like a சிராய்ப்பு/abrasion , triggering a LOCALISED clot in that location(the coronary artery alone). Anti Viral drugs are becoming difficult to find...So many people are fighting for Oxygen cylinders, for their loved ones who even if they manage to find a hospital bed and a ventilator, dont hav oxygen. Why? Because we all started roaming around without masks, (7/10 people have no masks in Chennai MRTS trains), and we attended our leaders political rallies in such a crowd...Like one of us said we should have been careful and followed the various other ways available to be safe but we did not do it, after the healthcare system succeeded in bringing cases down after 1st wave. But when that has been spoiled, we need to get vaccinated and stay safe at home, so that we get some immunity, and the hospital beds, drugs, ventilators and oxygen can be reserved for those who are really sick at that point of time. Such a massive reaction of clots in brain/ heart has not happened in India, ...so show some faith and do what that is necessary..

Thanks Dr Pal for doing this video, being his fan I also had a hard doubt whether his death could be any related to Covid but after your video it does clearly clarify. Vivek sir’s last speech to public was also to raise awareness about getting vaccinated and the importance of getting one. So unfortunate this happened after the vaccine. Have to share this video to many as I could so everyone gets their dose of vaccine with out that confusion.

It's so difficult to predict death in cases where a person appears reasonably healthy.
Appearance is deceptive. A person I knew who was Obese felt really uncomfortable to do daily chores which were not hard to do few months back. I suggestted few cardio routine and green based diet. He reduced weight really fast, as surprised I was, I had my doubts. After a few week he took a blood test and is diagnosed with diabetes mellitus. Now he blames me for his diabetes. I feel like the vaccine makers now.

I may not comment much but never miss your videos. Appreciate your efforts to keep everyone informed on this. Unfortunately many people have already decided in their minds that this happened due to vaccine (especially those who were already skeptical) - this is what I have seen in comments section in social media of other doctors who are also trying to clear misinformation. Such an unfortunate situation that his death is being used in opposite manner to what he wanted. Thanks for doing this, please keep it up. Also congrats on your channel growth . If such us the case why hasn't it happened before but occured after the vaccination. Surely, in some persons the vaccine is causing the blockage. It may differ from person to person but it's not ethical to proceed with these vaccine if they have fatal side-effects.
Respected doctor, my feeling was whether that vaccine triggered something to lead vivek sir to collapse....if he could have not vaccinated, he may not have left us.....dilemma still...

Sir i have taken covaxin a week back. After taking i had high pulse rate and palpitations, not only me many people are reporting this. More than a week still my chest pain n discomfort. Almost feels like an attack. I went to doc n got ecg done it says normal m a young healthy guy but what about heart patient. They can't bear such high pulsation

That is because of collateral arteries(small blood vessels) managing supply that part of heart.

Some people are asymptomatic with 90% blockage. you get minor symptoms like mild chest discomfort or breathlessness - you ignore it. The definite way to identify is to get an angiogram. Treatment - if you have blockage - Stenting ..

Dr, I totally agree with you on importance of vaccines and regularly watch your videos. I have a generic query. If there is a block of 100 percent and if it builds up progressively, can it be detected earlier via cholesterol blood test, ECG, Echo cardiogram etc as part of regular annual checkups? Or is there a chance that the block can move from 0 to 100 percent within a short span of few months. Pls clarify.🙏
S mam it can be detected ...and for 100 percent we have to place a stent since it's a emergency situation if its below 50 percent we can have medication like anti platelets ,diet changes and life style modification

Incase you have high bp , Cholesterol, Diabetes or any symptoms..Get ur self tested for blockage regularly with Scans available in Hospitals.

Since the vaccine has been known to react differently, albeit rare, in some ppl and causing blood clots, is it not possible the thrombus travelled to the coronary artery causing the heart attack? Was there a PM conducted? Did they declare the nature of the clot?

The truth is there is no data or scientific proof to say with confidence that ‘Covaxin caused his blood clot.’ First of all, we do not know if his heart attack was due to a blood clot or cholesterol-clogged blood vessels. The heart is a less common location for a blood clot. Moreover, we do not inject a complete strain of the virus as a vaccine. Covaxin is an inactivated or killed vaccine that contains the remains of the virus particles that helps us build immunity against the live COVID-19 virus. The vaccine is not strong enough to cause a full infection -- I believe Dr.Pal has already explained these mechanisms in a language simpler to understand. We are in the middle of a pandemic and literally at war against this virus. The only way we can defeat this is by vaccination. Few people getting vaccinated is not enough; we need to do it as a community to achieve herd immunity. Misinformation surrounding vaccination and vaccine hesitancy are major threats to achieving this herd immunity. The more we delay vaccination, the more we are giving opportunities for this virus to mutate. Let us not let this virus mutate to the point where even the available vaccines become useless. Remember, children are still not eligible for vaccinations. It's us grownups who should be protecting them via herd immunity. Already, we see young people becoming more susceptible to the new variants. Please believe in science, and let's work together to defeat this pandemic! It's hard to believe that his death is coincidental.
Sir Vivek had a healthy lifestyle and good consciousness about his health. He regularly used to cycle, weaker heart patients with a particular percentage of bloackge (or., Let's imagine 75%) can't do hard exercises/workouts. He also used to take master health check-up every 6 months. If the clot/cholesterol was building up gradually as you explained, then why didn't doctors diagnose that in prior and suddenly revealed that the blockage is 100%. This gets me suspicious. Can you explain Sir??
