Old suspension can ruin the whole driving experience. Here's how to upgrade your suspension to coilovers!
The coilovers I'm installing are the MeisterR ZetaCRD Coilovers!

Vincent, the quality of this video is phenomenal. Your attention to detail + your ability to clearly explain & demonstrate exactly what you are doing is outstanding. Thank you so much for the obvious effort you put into the quality of this video!
No cap this guy hella cute tho
He’s fine af
Pause bro
Bro?
Ayo, this is the first comment that shows up on the bottom of the video and I'm dead 😂😂
AYYYOOOOOO
Got a 99 NB and have been very motivated to learn how to build it to my taste. Your informative and detailed guides definitely help me plan on what route i wanna go with my car. Thank you very much!
Thank you so much for this!! I’m new to working on cars and never done coilovers before and this video did an amazing job explaining everything. I got them put on in no time and it was a great learning experience!
This is a really solid video. You really broke it down well. Thanks!
Installing my set of ZetaCRD’s today! Great video dude!
super helpful and detailed, you deserve way more subs!
One of the most comprehensive tutorials out there man! Good job. Saving this video for when my coilovers arrive and youve earned a sub!
Better than the control arm removal videos too. I literally watched this instead
Great video man, keep this up. Super informative
Great flicks love your explaining
Keep killing it fam 🔥🔥🔥
Great video, very helpful. Thank you
Another great video, keep em going, and I hope I see the alignment video soon.
thx for this bro, amazing video
Thank you Vincent! I'm new to work on cars, so this video help A LOT!!👍 In my case the front upper arm bolt was stuck in there so I used Socket extension to push it out. I hope this would help someone! Thanks again. And I'll looking forward to your vids.
Nice video man!!!
Thanks for the video! I always had struggle understanding how people adjust their ride height and I just fully understood how you guys do it! It helps me a lot and definitely in the future as soon as I have my own Miata. Oh, and I honestly don't even watch your videos because I need the help, I just watch them because they're satisfying and for support lol
I'll be going more into depth about coilover adjusting in my next video (: Thanks for the support on basically every video man! I'm glad that you truly enjoy my videos!
@@VincentLawv sorry for the late answer but of course I support you the fullest!
Many thanks to you sir ! Amazing chanenel. Please keep up the good work despite what haters might say.
Excellent video tutorial.
Great video. You really helped me out.
This video is awesome!! The way you explain things is so clear and to the point. Super entertaining, you deserve more subs!! I’m planning on getting coilovers for my ‘92 Miata and this video is really helping me understand how it all works and how to do the install. I’m a beginner when it comes to working on cars and I’ve absolutely loved working on mine so far and make videos about it too. Keep up the good work! I’ll be following the build!
Thank you so much! I really try my best to convey the important information without being overbearing. I'm really glad that my video is gonna help you when you install your coilovers! Everyone starts somewhere, the miata is honestly the perfect car to start learning with since it's so simple and relatively cheap to work on (: Thanks again for the support I really appreciate it!
Very good instructor thanks
Nicely done! Great video! Thanks!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video (: I appreciate the support
sick lighting dood
Excellent video. And exactly what I needed because I just want a good street setup that soaks up bumps without compromising handling. I’ve got worn out KYB shocks and a broken rear top mount on a 96 M edition.
Great info mate. Nice to see a car related video that doesnt have squeaky voice trap music blasting all the way through.
Thanks! That's my project tomorrow.
Great job, helluva how to.
I got these after watching this video, they are sweet. Currently have them on the softest settings and the ride quality is great.
How does it compare to stock ?
Great content! Keep the videos coming !
Thank you! I have some new videos coming up, just waiting on some parts to come in 👀
@@VincentLawv do you track or AutoX your car?
Unfortunately I’ve never been to either of them :/ I really want to though! It’s pretty late in the season already so I’ll definitely look into next season. I’ll be sure get some footage (:
Awesome! i was waiting for your video! definitely lower your miata a little bit but keep it driveable on streets :D
Thank you for your patience and your support! I'll get the new set of wheels onto the car and see how it looks in my next video (:
Great Video! well done installation, very informative. I ordered a set of Zeta CDRs as well. what do you think of them now that you have had them a while?
Great tutorial, thanks.
Of course! I'm glad my video could help you (: Thanks for the support!
Well done.
Great content here man! We appreciate the simple straight forward instructions.
Being an entry level "apprentice?" (lube tech who has half a brain and common sense) and coming from an automotive background/family, your thought process is amazing, people struggle so much with things but once you step back and take a good look, it makes life so much easier, also, I implore you to think about investing in a 3/4" + 3/8" (interchangable anvil) electric ratchet and an electric 1/2" impact gun, from one car guy to another, this is kick ass keep it up!
Thank you! Seeing your support really boosts my spirits (: I have a 1/4" + 3/8" electric ratchet as well as a 1/2" electric impact gun, but sometimes I feel like it's best to use common hand tools not only to get a better feel for the bolts, but also to show that anyone can do this with some common hand tools!
torque specs!? Thank you for including that. Saves me so much time
Now I know how to install coilovers
Could you maybe make a list of the equipment you are using? (Planning on installing this suspension myself)
I think you should practically slam it lol, like low but not to low 🤷🤷 love your channel though keep up the good work bro
That's what I have in mind. Trying to get clean fitment while keeping it somewhat practical. Thanks for the support man (: I really appreciate it a lot!
I have fortune auto 500's on my miata and I love them! 37 dampening on them
Fortune 500's were out of my budget for me, I should have snagged them during the black friday sale last year!
@@VincentLawv yeah bro I pay a bit for them but I'm the type to be like go big the first time ya know!lol.. you on Instagram? Would love to follow your build!
Yeah, I get that! If I were to track my car often then I would have probably went for the fortunes too but the meisterRs fit my needs better as a street car (: I have an instagram but don’t really post my car often on it, just the occasional story post. You can still check it out @vincentlawv Maybe I’ll start posting more soon 🤔
@@VincentLawv great way to get more closer to your fan base and car community.
How static are they like is the dampening really stiff?
I have a 91 Miata and I keep bottoming out with bc racing coilovers do you think I need to roll the fenders?
Bro.. why aren't you getting more subscribers?!
SLAM IT MY BOY!!!!
I really want to but this is going to be my daily driver soon. Dealing with NYC potholes & steel plates from construction on a slammed miata isn't really the move right now ):
I just got the tein flex z, but backordered. I feel like I shouldve gotten the zeta crd, i was pretty torn but 250$ savings got me as this isn't my daily lol. Perhaps I should use the 250 towards new steering wheel lol
The Tein Flex Z's are still a good set of coilovers! Yeah man, use that $250 for other parts. I have a video on a steering wheel installation for the NA miata if you haven't seen it yet (:
Hi could you tell me what you think of tecna coilovers
Are the coillovers left or right specific?
sick edits dude, slam that automobile! 👁👁
car go vroom vroom
Only guide to include all torque specs, thanks
Don't slam it, never do that. Good work.
Hey! I just got the same coilovers for my nb Miata after installation I’ve been hearing squeaking noises. I recheck every bolt and retorqued everything have any suggestions on what to check? It was okay prior to installation
Usually squeaking noises would be some suspension bushings that are bound up and/or twisted up. Try to locate the exact area that the squeaking is coming from starting with which end of the car, then if possible, figure out which corner it is. I doubt the coilovers are the problem since they were new (unless you got a defective one), but I've heard some stories of squeaking due to not putting in the little plastic "spacers/gaskets" on the top hat between the coilover and the frame of the car. You should definitely check the swaybar bushings because that's also a common reason for squeaking. You can take them off, grease up the bushings, & see if the squeaking disappears (:
Thank you, I’ll check all of these out, It’s been so annoying but I also dread taking it apart again ☹️
ur speaking a whole different language LMFAOO. idk wtf is going on but 16:54 had me weak. IMY Vincent
How many Different coil overs did you try to make the statement. Name the other ones you try and the ride feel
👍
also, got insta? i'd like to follow up on your build haha
You found it before I could reply, I followed back!
Just wondering how much can you lower the car with these coilovers
The previous owner already lowered the car with tokico shocks & flyin miata top hats in the rear, so I can't compare the drop from stock height. But as of now, my car is about 3 inches off the ground from the frame rails! The rears are about maxed out & the fronts can lower about an inch or so, but if I did that then the car wouldn't be level anymore. If you're going for a slammed or flush look then I wouldn't recommend these because the spring rate is somewhat soft (6k front & 5k rear) so hitting bumps with speed bottoms the car out. That's the expense for a more comfortable ride though!
Tecna coilovers are the best
Slam it!!! Park it on the road if you have to😅 #lowlife
you dont have to tighten the shocks lower mount under load lmao tf
