So, good video to get started, but people really, there's no point in doing this. You'll be upping your electric bill and won't be making enough Bitcoin to cover that cost. To put it into perspective, he said he made like 13 Satoshis after a day of mining? That's 0.00000013 Bitcoin - a fraction of a fraction of a cent. Yet your computer was on all day burning out the CPU to mine. Waste. Buy a Bitmain S9 ASIC miner to make some REAL money.
Why don't we mine other all currency than Bitcoin. Because LTC or ETC give more profits if I am not wrong.

I'm assuming this just plugs you into a mining pool where you have to split any bitcoins mined with potentially thousands of others while the mining pool owner keeps the majority.

i mined bitcoin in 2010 on a quadcore cpu for 2 days i still have the wallet.dat on a cd which i just recently found ..back then if you found a block it was 50 bitcoin, i remember mining and i downloaded the blockchain on bitcoin v0.3 client when i overwrote the wallet.dat file i got a ton of address and keys but where do you find out how many bitcoin you have? will it tell you in the bitcoin client. thanks for helping
