Jay- Jay Okocha & Ronaldinho Gaucho amazing skills show in a friendly game between Nigeria & Brazil 11.06.2003
Truth be said. This wasn't J.J Okocha vs Ronaldinho. It was J.J. Okocha vs Brazil. Super Legend J.J. Okocha. With love from Uganda 🇺🇬,🇺🇬🇺🇬
Exactly, you are right
Seriously A man that speaks to football and football listen ....we love you more
God bless you
Huu he lost the ball most of the time on this game. I've the full match
Thank you sir. Jay jay Okocha is too good. Respect 🫡
Ronaldinho even learnt some portion of his skill play from this legendary soccer god Okocha. Much love and greetings from Ghana 🇬🇭
@samiel Obeng rgar's NOT true. But Okocha was a world class player for sure. And one of my favorite African players of all time.
@@gatekeepercreative Ronaldinho was actually an understudy to JJ and copied his tricks… JJ confirmed this in an interview when he said “The former Barcelona midfielder came in from Gremeio in Brazil and as a 21 year old who's still finding his feet in Europe he understudied Okocha. In an interview with Egyptian TV, Jay-Jay Okocha said the then Brazilian youngster learnt a lot from him by copying his dribbles and tricks that he (Okocha) was famous for.”
@@Jonsnows sorry but that is way overstated. I know the history of Ronaldinho in Brazil and the style he is known for was with him in his earliest years, even before Gremio. And definitely NO DISRESPECT to the great Jay Jay, but of course he would say something like that. Why wouldn't he when you look at the trajectory of both careers. But, even if your assertion were true, it would certainly be a case of the student outgrowing the teacher.
Much respect for you sir
@@gatekeepercreative Ronaldhino stated himself that he learn many moves from Jay Jay
Okocha is the most underrated player in history.
100% true ive he played in a Supreme team he would be a golden ball winner
Him and Georgi Kinkladze
Because he's a BLACK, trurh be told..

Okocha played so well the entire game. Beautiful passes and dribbling, really putting life into the Nigerian team.
😆 🤣 😂

This team of Nigeria is the best in all Africa nations in history of football. Bravo Okocha, Finidi, Oleshey, Kanu, Siasia , Amokachi, Babanguida, Babayaro.... Etc... I ❤ you all, specially George Finidi. Thanks for spectacle sportif. Hicham Hanafi from fez - Morocco -
I use to enjoy this standard of play, we African we are the best
Elegant Finidi. Great player of Ajax.
Jonathan Akpoborie was good player but I dont know why he did not play a lot with Nigeria
I think finidi amokachi, lawal, rachidi yakini weren't there.if they did,it would be a different story.
Okocha was deprived of true recognition as a legend who always brings life into any game ,satisfying the fans with no dull moment I duff off for you the greatest African legend
Okocha was super in this game... he was special and every football fan must acknowledge this. We are privileged to watch him play.
fifa made his icon dirty even he is from the best dribbleres in history and my man his own art of dribbling
S
The football world has never given 2 dribbles like that again. Ronaldinho & Okocha 🇧🇷 🇳🇬 💯✅
Exactly, Gaymar ain't never finna get in the same level they both had, they just were the real maestros of dribbling skills (along with Robinho) who invented their own tricks and skills, and didn't have to copy things already created like these cheap plastic footballers we have nowadays.
@@MayheM_646 You can say Neymar isn't on Dinho's level but to downplay his game is straight delusional. If you played or even ENJOY the game, you'd enjoy Neymar's flair. Ball control, passes, shooting he had it all. Those "real footballers" you talk about all had nothing but high praises for Neymar lmao you know more than them? Hatred can really blind you morons.
At a point in time jay jay dominated the middle, and it was too late for his subordinates to gear up when they were all afraid to play the Brazilian stars and what distinct jay jay as a legend,he doesn't want to know who your team is,baba will always his raw talent against anybody, thumb up pappy jay
Notice how the crowd roared everytime jayjay touched the ball? crazy! olofinjana marked ronaldinho pretty well in this game but their squad was too good. Jayjay worked hard but we lacked clinical strikers here. Much love to the brazilian and Nigerian teams. Classic. Thanks 4 sharing MRB
Back then, if the coach doesn't play Okocha from the start, my friends and I would just get out of the match venue. Win or lose, just watching him play was enough for us. That legend made football look so easy!!
Without a doubt, he makes football look easy
Hi

Jay Jay Okocha demeure l'un des plus grands artistes africains dans le domaine du football. Un grand respect.
JJ invented that double leg dribble. A true African legend.

Okocha is a World Legend. Sadly, the media did not give him its true value.
He’s an African…😎! At some point E’to looked like the best player scoring for fun, and got nothing. George Weah was an anomaly!

@@Funnyjaykixx how?
Ronaldinho made sure after this even his jersey number would be 10. Okocha is a legend
Despite this Jayjay's absolute brilliance on the ball in this particular match, the quality of the strikers he delivered his passes to didn't do much for his efforts. But he's a golden fish. And you know what they say about a golden fish? He's got no hiding place anytime his on that pitch. He's a legend yet untold.
I'd just say Okocha wasnt so lucky. If medias and all were available like it is now, he'd probably surpasses or be competing with Messi and Ronaldo right now and he gave up too early on his football career buh he's still a legend!!
@@_decktor ha.. this is cap. How much did he do then, compared to dhino, zidane, rivaldo okocha play beautiful football. He's not the most technical going forward. He had a very good here obviously.

@@usmanelebute.a5866 is it his fault the players are not around him to get the ball? also that's highlight doesn't show all he's capable of. Put him in a team that has midfield like Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas and see wonders, Lol
@@_decktor if Okocha , was at the level of DHINO, PIRLO, XAVI, ZIDANE, INIESTA, RIVALDO, that Millan, Inter, man u, Barca, madrid of those era would hv picked him up. He's excellence, but no an epitome of elite footballers..
Okocha’s high level of energy of play throughout every Mach is amazing. JMO

im from senegal🇸🇳 Love love love Jay Jay🇳🇬❤️
My all time driving in football, J J Okocha number 8 in the world and first in Africa. I am a Ghanaian 🇬🇭
It's like one million touches in a single match. Jay jay!!! If Nigeria had fierce strikers in that team, Brazil would have been 3 goals down in the first half. I remember this match vividly, JayJay did everything humanly possible but for the strikers.. This was JayJay VS Brazil. Glory days are gone. JayJay!!!!!!!!!
while Ronaldinho had 20 players supporting him, Okocha had 10 pieces of wood hanging around him on the pitch there. The man still shined so bright.
Pieces of wood haha
Dont call Kanu and Enyeama peices of wood
Okocha and Ronaldinho are so in dribbling, that they invented moves😂

Smiles on my face while watching my two ever best playing against each other, jay jay was brilliant but Ronaldinho has gat the winning squad....

Okocha played well very 👏 but nobody to utilise all his passes and good chances he created for goals, Okocha was a world class player 👏

Thank God for Africa/Nigeria
Football is short of these type of players, playmakers who take over the midfield like a boss and dictate the pace of the creating chances for attackers and quicker players in general, nowadays every wants to be on the scoresheet, opting to shoot from the most ridiculous of positions, while a teammate waits in a better position
Ur reasonably a good football analyst

Imagine we had Okocha playing in his prime with Ndidi behind him and prime Enyeama in goal. Top Notch Strikers and good defenders. Nigeria would have been a team to beat.
Nigeria had that in the past, Sunday Oliseh was better than Ndidi, we had Taribu west in defense, Ikshoromu as a keeper, Rashidi Yekini in attack, Babayaro, Aghawowa.. We had one of the very tormenting groups in the past.
You guys still have his nephew though playing for your national team
