Every year, hundreds of thousands of revelers flock to the California desert for the famed Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. It’s a week and a half of musical performances and creative showcases. This year’s headliners included Beyonce, The Weeknd and Eminem. While the performances are hailed as extraordinary, one reporter says the festival can be dangerous for female concertgoers. Vera Papisova of TeenVogue says she was groped during the first weekend of the festival. #InsideEdition

  • A very long time ago before the internet and coachella, we used to have local fairs in different neighbourhoods(mela) and you used to hear these stories all the time, but one time I saw it first hand this girl decided to where the crowd was near the stage and when she went in she started screaming, she was being chucked around, getting her clothes ripped and being touched everywhere. She got thrown to the floor and she had to crawl out. There were police there and they literally wouldn't do anything. She was crying and screaming, but the way the law works, nothing cannot be done unless you have evidence for your case. She had to be taken to a hospital soon after. Couple months later, she had committed suicide. This is the problem with the youth- live for now, suffer the consequences years down the line. Don't put yourself in a position where you can be jeopardised for your wellbeing.

    • @@andre_3578 as a guy, they obviously have a brain a size of a peanut for not perceiving and sympathize on how women have felt. If anything, they should try dressing up as a woman and experience what women had to go through themselves. And heck, there is a video where a man disguised as a woman so he could experience what was a woman's life like if he ever walk down the streets. The results? He was catcalled, etc. (I can't remember the video anymore. It has been years.) Everyone should understand how uncomfortable and violating it feels. And heck, the man was dressed heavily that the men could not see how "curvy" and all he seems. In fact, he wore muslim clothes. His whole head covered. Like, jeez, I always hear "it is because women dressed up..." blah blah blah. They need to keep their hands and tongue to themselves if they're going to be rude.
