they need to start making clubs that have industrial/modern aesthetics with neon lights and music like this
they do but you have to be in NY or LA
Who's they? You open one and invite me!

Everybody loves 1980s retro vibes. Even people born after that decade.
How many haters did you have to strap into a chair within a room blasting this loud enough to prevent healthy sleep until they loved it to be confident in your statement? Did you study them after the fact to see if they actually started listening to the 80s retro vibes on their own, and if not strap them down for as many sessions as needed?
Ah yes, "everybody". We have dismissed that claim.
Closet 1980s vibers 🤣

I'm very glad this genre is trending. Very glad.

Better to study than Lofi. Lofi is good, but reminds me that I'm alone and it makes me cry. Synthwave gives me energy and I forget about my problems.
are you an egirl or wtf
@@cosminbucataru9718 Found the incel
Agreed, this type of music is chill but supports productive work more. Lofi is still great for relaxing though

Because time is fake
Right! We want to be assimilated!!

80s definitely one of the best times, great music
Yep the housing market wasnt fucked in the head!
This makes me picture all the 80's kids now adults up top a mountain ready to face a diabolical evil of epic proportions whilst wearing Spy Flynn 5050 teal sunglasses, Marty Mcfly baseball caps, Retro pixel hoodies and Nike Blazer mid 77's all while on an epic hover board, milky way chocolate bar in hand and whistle lollypops and golf ball bubblys in mouth. We are the Original generation of Kings and Queens of promise, the Alphas and the Omegas. Never lose your vibe my people! Much Love!
The 80s never die. Thanks GOD that I was born in 76. The 80s were my childhood. The best years I could have wished for.
Same here, glad I was a child during the 80s
I too was born in 76 and the 80s holds a wonderful world of amazement for me. My God! I wish it was 87 all over again.
Another '76 guy here. The 80's were amazing. I used to carry around a ghetto blaster that weighed almost as much as me. Lol.
Wow, must have been fun to grow up in the 80's and being able to go out for a walk with friends, no electronics, barely any video games, and beautiful muscle cars and music, and just how nice people dressed up. The 2000's sucks
Lol just a couple of days ago i was playing dnd with my friends we were all jealous of the 80s era and we said how we wish we were born in that era.
What I love about synthwave music is that it's very reminiscent of video game music in the 80s and early 90s. Mega Man, Metroid, Sonic, etc. all had rather straightforward and repeating tunes that always sounded super dope.
Have you heard the Metroid synth wave stuff?
I'm gonna give out some Electronic Genres and Artists for you to listen to- Listen to Chiptune - Anamanaguchi is a good example. Psychedelic Trance - Crazy Astronaut, Complextro - Savant, Dubstep - Excision, Happy Hardcore - S3RL, Witch House, Art Pop - Grimes, Electronicore - Ghost Town, Nintendocore - Dungeon Elite. All very good genres.
That's exactly what synthwave music is derived from: 80s video games haha
I really want another F-Zero game with synthwave as the soundtrack.

I love that you actually MADE some music in this, didnt just siphon off stranger things
the 80's will live on now and forever
I graduated high school back in 1984. I love the 80s, and this so much reminds me of John Carpenter's music. I love this! You just got another subscription! Amazing stuff! How did this EVER go out of style?? The magic of this music. I don't know, maybe you had to live it. Maybe you had to be there. But just when the melody starts to get too repetitive it folds in and over itself. Suddenly you're surfing toward a black hole on an 8-bit surfboard, and you're not the least bit afraid.
Nicely said Sir!
I like your comment Mark. I didn't grow up in the 80's but I was born in 87 so I never really payed attention much until recently. Have you ever listened to any modern Psychedelic Glitch Hop? You might like a lot of it. It's master-crafted music.
This is a great comment! Check out Gunship and The Midnight if you haven't already. Two of the very best in the scene.
Well put, but it is a different situation for me. I was born in 79 and obviously it was not my formative years. I spent all of the 90s hating on the 80s. Then the 2000s I look back at the 90s and smh. Fast forward to the 2020s and the 90s still suck but now I appreciate the 80s. I guess I had to come full circle. Like realizing you love something when it's gone? Just took me a few decades. This music is just so good, because it incorporates the technology we have today with that perfect 80s spin. magical.
Synthwaves transcends me into different galaxies
I still can't figure out why music from 40 years ago has such a futuristic vibe even now. 🎶🚀
The amount of synths in this would scare the shit outta Diamond City
Thats just the sort of thing a synth would say
The amount of ADs in this scares everybody
Synth Pop music were huge in the 80's... Pet shop boys, Depeche mode, New order, Information society, to name a few. I remembered clubs in the 80's would play extended remix or 12 inch record of these radio hits.
The bands were great in the 80's and I always looked forward to their new tracks. Recording the top 40 and the DJ's always talked over the tracks to annoy you on purpose.
literally my favorite music genre rn
for me its 70s prog rock and this its a veri nice
Yeah, Synthwave and prog rock make me high :D

oh, I've missed this kind of music
Wow, that opening song hooked me good. I've always been a fan of synth wave. Great work putting this together.
All the sudden ever since stranger things came out people fell in love with 80’s beats. I was raised listening to this 😎 best way to grow up playing this music with video games as well you feel like your in the future ahead of time, greatest feeling ever tbh 😏
Your name rhymes with Castle Byers.
Most if not all of these artists came out in the last couple years
We roll dice with classic DnD with this in the background. It ALWAYS seems to get timed when our backs are against the wall, the music just SURGES.
I know, right? I'm expecting to see John Carpenter's name show up in the credits on the screen!
It's so weird... But I seem to like it. Thank you.
Thanks for the awesome mix and a huge appreciation on inputting the track list!!
Anything that starts with Daniel Deluxe is doing things the right way
The synths are strong with this one 🙏🔥
Whoever created this music must be a Dark Lord of the Synth.

Great work on the tracklist, I really love it!
One of the best mixes on KZhead, no, on the net. Glad I found it.

Daniel Deluxe to me is above and beyond the rest. Love his beats and pulling soundbites from masterpieces like Legend.
This is the best set of Synthwave mixes!
These visuals are amazing.
Easter egg: if you're moving your mouse over the timeline forward, then the animation looks backward and vice versa.

This is an wicked awesome mix. Hell yes.
Fascinating work indeed!
I feel like I like it even more with those sick graphics that go with it.
These graphics are spectacular but the animation is a bit jumpy. Something smoother I could watch for hours.
thank you so much for this, it really gets me into a work-flow.
Darkness is sick! Including the lines from Legend, such a great movie!
Absolute beast of a playlist.
Didn't read the description and thought this was a remix/mix of Stranger Things' OST. Having played Hotline Miami, I knew it wasn't when Perturbator came up. :)
The third song is one of the best things I’ve heard in a while! Super dark and nasty. Love it!
This mix has so many awesome songs!
Love it man!! Great work!!
Lazerhawk - So far away. Wow I just got transported to a surreal beach with purple ocean water and pink clouds, where aliens surf waves with surfboards made out of gold.
278 Demogorgons and counting.
Waiting for season 4 which should be coming around fall 2021, earliest (which is highley unlikley) summer of 2021.
Great mix. Thank you.
Killer visuals with these! Nice playlists, thanks!
Takes me back to 1980s, the era of my birth and childhood. 😎Back when there was still some optimism for the future. Now people are just waiting for the end, like good grief and I thought I suffer from nihilistic suicidal pessimism. 😱
Totally right brother
Love the Legend clip- super fun
Just awesome track list...we need more...
Starting out with Daniel Deluxe 😍

Darkness is such a cool track! Good mix also love the name 🎉
Still waiting on the cyber-punk future we were promised. This sound, neon lights, Tron-era vibes. Where is my cyberpunk at?
Be a bit more patient: Pandemic, Great Reset, oil pipeline hack, digital health passports... The cyberpunk future seems to be just around the corner!
Great job Stranger Synths!!! Reminds me of my childhood...I was a kid thru the 80's so this is extremely nostalgic for me...thanks for the upload yo🔥🔥🔥
