People have survived and done way more bizarre things than this show. But I guess you were on the front line of a war and know what is and is not possible.

daredevil not so much, he bores the crap outta me tbh. The punisher has much more realism to it, frank is on an insane mission and nearly dies and gets injured plenty of times. daredevil runs around in a gimp suit blind but sees things based on hearing in such detail he makes a picture in his mind. that along is just corny and then given hes blind he manages to find good looking girls lol like wtf hes blind! its about as unrealistic as seeing with your ears. now I understand its marvel universe but frank is missing those bells and whistles that make daredevil a super hero. that brings a more relatable persona especially if he can fight and still get injured and nearly die. Then electra came into the season 2 I had to double check and make sure I wasnt watching the fckn power rangers lol soooooooo fckn bad and that girls is pretty but annoying to listen to imo
The sheer amount of work that took you to assemble this masterpiece is insane. I simply love it and every single time I watch it (more than a thousand times now) I notice a different nuance or a frame that you choose to include. Just magnificent

Hell of a show, hell of an actor. Really hope we get more Punisher and Daredevil. We need more of them interacting in cross overs as well. Two men struggling with the devil and trying not to become the devil.
One of the best series i have seen, and there was never a dull moment, fully action packed. Scores in all departments, acting, stunt choreography, cinematography, and sound. Congratulations to the producers of this amazing series. I can always watch it all over again.

Such an incredible piece of acting, no two ways about it. Jon Berthal perfectly encapsulated all of the rage, PTSD, and emotional trauma of the character in a way no one ever has before. He could oscillate between traumatised jarhead and genuinely terrifying sociopath with perfect plausibility.

The last line of the season being "I'm scared" was probably the best one they could have used. We see him as this harsh, terrifying, no tolerance for bullshit marine when in reality he is just a man who is avenging the fact that someone took his family from him. He has his PTSD, his loneliness, flashbacks, betrayal, he is suffering and the people who actually care enough to dig deeper realize this.

I noticed John Bertnal in the movie "Reckoning" and decided to watch other films with his participation. I found the Punisher and oh my God, I watched it in two days))) and then I went under the impression for another week. Definitely the best series. Now John is my favorite actor. I would like to wish him further success in his business. ! He is just as human and brutal in life. Now I watch his podcast, it allows me to get to know him better as a person and his life.
I was hoping it would end of the shot of Frank waking up, half chocking on his own blood and croaks "Home". But this is an excellent video none the less.

This is by far the best on screen interpretation of the Punisher, I’m beyond disappointed Netflix cancelled this show. For the ones that aren’t big comic readers or do read them but never read Punisher, I recommend the Punisher: MAX series by Garth Ennis from 2003. It’s brutal, the story arcs are amazing and Frank is an old Vietnam vet. It’s not for the faint of heart, there’s a lot of swearing and blood and guts a plenty. It’s easily the best version of the Punisher ever

This show is really underrated. The storytelling that can connect modern day mariners who identify with Castle ( Marines love him so much that they paint his skull on their guns) and shows a glimpse of how much mental warfare many suffer with when they come home. The final line of for once I'm not at war, and I'm scared can ring true to many people accustomed to fighting for a long time and no longer have a fight to prepare for. Not just Marines but also fighters mentally go to war. They train and focus on one thing for so long. When they retire they find it really difficult not to get back in the ring/cage again. Same can go for military. Luckily no Frank Castles have been made yet
