Raja Ravi Varma's painting is missing
Nobody should be paying. Make it free!
A lot of people are actually buying it. You should consider the effort going into all this work. The video is for free 🙂
@@kiddopedia Good for you man. Sorry for my comment How many pics is more there than in this video?
163 in total. 137 from the video and 26 more that I couldn't include to the video due to KZhead content policy (nudity and gore).
When I was younger, I thought looking at art and listening to classical music was so pretentious, but now that I've grown I can see the beauty in so many different ways and appreciate the effort put in all shapes and forms of art. Hell, I even cry because sometimes my emotions overcome, when something speaks to me :') Good day everybody
same here, i’ve started to appreciate art of all forms this year, and really gotten into classical music
Thank you @Ellen Rodrigues, I needed to hear that.
Me to Iv fallen in love with art ,music abstract pictures
I'm the exact same way.. except jazz music kinda gives me a headache.. I appreciate the art though most definitely!
Yeah, i get that a lot, I'll talk about my favourite paintings and I'll either get ignores or someone will roll their eyes and say im being *too obvious* Wtf does that even mean?

Reinhardt Wilhelm .He was a Cynical Cycho and very scattered .
Hieronimus Bosch and Peter Bruegel, both, the young and the elder are missing from the list.
@@jorgezeballos2337 Bruegels are there. I at least remember noticing 1
Monet was an artist I never truly appreciated until I saw his work in person, it's like a cool optical illusion seeing the image slowly come into focus the more you step back, and the reason I love Impressionism so much
Wow, I feel like many of these artists had a perfect photographic memory! Some of these paintings look like actual scenes from real life. And they captured them so brilliantly!
a large portion of these artists did use live models or scenes for their work
Camera obscura .
One that would have made this video still better: countries and dates...
Putting dates is a good idea. I will include it in my next video.
Awesome job. But dates plz
@@kiddopedia and maybe the name of the art gallery where the painting is
And kind of art, for example cubism art, surealism art, abstract etc.. Will be much better
Suggestions to add dates, places, etc. are good thoughts. However, I think less is better to enable the viewers to really focus on looking at the beautiful artworks.
I'm not dying until I see one of these in real life.
Exactly! Once this miserable pandemic under control hopefully this year, I plan to go Amsterdam, Netherland to visit Vincent Van Gogh’s museum.🙏
you'll have to travel a lot! bon voyage!
Go to New York and you can see several of them.
Mein either
yes, when you see the Mona Lisa you will say, gee, that's all there is!
There was a time when I knew all of these by memory and yet still knew nothing about the meaning of art. Now, many years later, I have found the meaning of these strokes in my own regard and begun my own painting and drawing journey. Beauty is inspiring.
I have seen many of these paintings, but never knew who painted them. Thank you for sharing this glimpse of art and artist. It was a nice way to relive the trips to the museums.
I love this background music(chopin Nocturne)... Mostly with violin Seeing an art while listening an art...
You just introduced me to Chopin, you know that? Also what nocturne means.! I was wondering through the video about the contribution of the music playing behind and voila..! you did the magic. Thanks a lot for opening new avenues for me.🙏
Chopin is amazing. Raindrop is my favorite. ❤️

I had a focussed attention of this when it was heard in the movie "The pianist".

Thank you, kiddopedia, for this beautiful collection. It's lovely to come across painters/ paintings previously unknown to me, and to revisit those I have seen.
Thank you for all of your hard work putting this collection together. I believe if you had included 1000 paintings no one would be completely happy. I watched the video two times in a row. I have been blessed by traveling to many of the great museums and churches in Italy, France and England as well as many museums on the east coast of the USA. As I watched the video I tried to keep track of how many of the painting I was familiar with and how many I had personally seen. I enjoyed reading everyone's comments. I would love to see people comment on how many if these pieces they knew and had viewed and where.
You have curated a truly beautiful collect of art that would benefit everyone to know and discover if they already haven’t... Also the music that accompanies our tour through your wonderful gallery is just perfect. I will be watching this videos again and again. Thank you so much for this laudable work.
There's. Alot of Filipino artist here. in the Philippines.. and they have a beautiful works.. just find in facebook nune avarado, jay iwayan, jeck alano, or just message kulay diwa galery so you can see more works of Filipino artist
Shaina blanch lorene Calderon , I will search them out. Thanks

Great video for someone who doesn't know much about art! They are beautiful and I learnt something new!
Interesting and lovely selection; i know most of them, having had a real education, but there were also some new ones. Many thanks -- including the portrait of Van Gogh without a beard, which I don't think I've ever seen. One name that I would want to suggest for another such collection is any work by Stevan Dohanos, if you are including Norman Rockwell as illustrator; SD's work was far more interesting, and with more profound view of and love for the USA life at that time. His parents Hungarian immigrants on the "wrong side of the tracks" [sic] in steel making Ohio, he iliustrated the famous Grapes of Wrath, for one, and became the person who chose the art for America's stamps for many years, using it to support and launch many young artists. A great artist AND great hearted man, not always together in this world.
It was great to see all these paintings even though you totally ignore Modigliani.
'Paris street in rainy weather' was simply ethereal, peaceful and calming. Simply beautiful! What an amazing painting! And yes, the 'Café terrace at night' by Van Gogh is mesmerizing! It has some unusual, unexplainable, feel to it. 'The sleeping gypsy' was quite heart stopping. 'The wanderer above the sea of fog' gives you a sense of anxiety. 'The flower carrier' has a certain juxtaposition with flowers, its weight and the man being heavily loaded and burdened due to it. Thank you so much for this wonderful video.
Truly so Truly so
I like Heart stopping poetry🌟🍀
Beautiful collection! Thank you. These famous artworks will continue to resonate & leave impressions in the mind of people for centuries to come.
Splendid complilation. And not a word of narration. Clearly, you understand that the art speaks for itself. Well done!
Well said!
I can't take my eyes back while seeing Van Gogh paintings........ Out of the world😘
Thank you so much for compiling this beautifully presented, most excellent selection of the 100 Great Paintings of All Time. It is my privilege to become one of your subscribers.
The Last Supper at such a low number is quite incredible. I was a door to door salesman in the 80s here in California; I could not go one block without seeing that painting in at least one home.
I was waiting for “ Nighthawks “and “ Christina’s World “ and wasn’t disappointed at any choice. Great video.
10:42 He looks like Mona Lisa's brother 😂😂
Who
oh my goodness... too right
Hahahaha 😂😂 no doubt
...and in an almost identical composition to the Da Vinci painting, too. I wonder why?
This was a real treat both visually and aurally. Thank you. As for staying to the end of the 100 that was no hardship! I am looking forward to seeing thd next 1000 !
Of course there are so many to choose from. I would have included two Monet masterpieces, The Magpie and Garden a Ste. Address. In the first, the cold is palpable, the whole scene is beautifully rendered, and I love the lone bird of the title on his own. The latter, you can feel the wind blowing, so alive.
Perfect video and perfect music Chopin 🌺🇬🇷
To think that I got to see some of these actual paintings in Paris in 2004 with my late Dad. Wonderful memories, nice presentation, thanks very much!
This is AMAZING and worth sharing with people who are shut in right now! Thank you for putting this together!
The art was so beautiful!! Loved them all! The music was fabulous! Thank you for this video!
Thank you for this overview ! It's extremely hard to narrow down only 100 world paintings. You did a nice attempt but I really missed The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb from the Ghent Altarpiece by Jan and Hubert van Eyck, completed in 1432 CE.
✨️✨️✨️
Agree. The Ghent Altarpiece belongs here.
Good video. I've been getting curious about art lately and what makes a piece "great," so I think having a list like this will help me learn more.
Gênios da Pintura; e gênios da música. Compartilhei com minhas amigas.
Great set! Of course, it`s difficult to make such a compilation from all the times and art styles. You`ve done a great job! But I feel the lack of Chagall, Delacroix, Georges de La Tour, Toulouse-Lautrec, Francois Boucher, Cezanne and many Russian artists like Surikov, Ivanov, Bryullov, Vastetsov. A lot of Van Gogh but too little of Salvador Dali. But I like it anyway)
And NO works of art from the African continent...only very few from Asia ..
Thank you for showing the beautiful historical art works some I never knew.
Thanks mate for the hard work you've done.

Through my window i saw the green and rain, inside room is graceful classic music and famous painting. thank you . you delighted my morning i feel peaceful and beautiful.
This is beautiful! Thank you for sharing this evocative image💫
You are a first-rate curator. Thank you for your hard work, and especially for the 37 bonus pieces. I enjoyed the picture-to-title delay, giving the viewer a moment to name the work. A very nice touch!
A little more time to name them would be nice
Agree.
Well done! Love to see this cultural image of the Art ❤️
Have to add a Chagall. I really enjoyed your selection. Thank you. And the music was perfect.
The girl behind the bar in the Folles Bergere by Manet, is mesmerising. Her eyes. She is not looking at you directly, but they draw you in. The Bass beer bottle on the bar is a quirky find as one explores the painting.
5:07 the ninth wave when i saw that painting years ago i always wanted to see in person its so breath taking
Thought provoking, mesmerizing, EXCEPTIONAL compilation, forever appreciated. Muchas gracias !!!!!
What a wonderful interlude for a cold cozy winter night in NY. Thank you.
My favourite is at no 60. The Great Wave of Kanagawa makes me feel at peace, plus I love blue. 🥰
this painting was inspiration for a starry night by van Gogh (number 2 on this video), you can even see that wave kinda, tho its a galaxy in van goghs painting.
Discovered The Ninth Wave by Ivan Aivazovsky through this collection; the colors and bigger-than-life scenery on this one is mesmerizing.
Me too - same reaction!
Thank you. Great Chopin music and well-curated collection. God bless you.
Gustav Klimt should be more in those lists. His paintings have so much energy. Seeing him only with the kiss (or his other golden painting) every time just underrates his other amazing work. I hope I will see zdzisław beksiński in a video like this one day Or Francis bacon. (Without bonus)
Superb selections of paintings !!! Also beautiful music!! Such a delight many many thanks!
I just felt Venus Birth from Boticceli was missed in the most famous ones! Also Mondrian's Composition II. Excellent video though. Chopin's Nocturne fits so well too❤️
Yes ... should have been included!
@@jagnik82 That's really a bummer...,but thanks for clarifying!
I dunno - nude reasons may be? KZhead rules?
that venus is in uffizi, in front of the russian, the english, the japanese, the spanish and the italian tour guides and their hordes sucking the very life out of visiting a museum
At the very end of the video, there is a list of paintings that would have been included, but due to you tube's restrictions on nudity and graphics, couldn't be. Boticceli's Birth of Venus is on the list.
Beautiful paintings accompanied by soothing music. Thank you for sharing these.
I'm on a quest to make myself verse in art and this is really helpful. I never cared for paintings and the arts until now. I have a lot to learn and I've missed so much.
Now, you're making me curious. If you're interested in art, you'll find some beautiful pictures on my page too. For some times I had just poetry but now I started with other arts too. Let me know if you liked it and tell me about your plan to become art.
Beautiful! Very relaxing to watch and introduced me to some artists I was not aware of. Thanks!
I can think of at least two of W. Beltracci's works that should be here. Especially love "the Red Horses."
Thank you so much. Absolutely beautiful paintings. Your taste is impeccable. Van Gogh is my favorite and glad to see so many of his works here. I've seen many of these paintings at MOMA, Metropolitan Museum, Le Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Ufizzi Gallery and Vatican Museum.

Ancient artists didn't have the proper advance painting equipments yet they achieve the most incredible paintings of all time. AMAZING!
Because what matter most is a person behind those equipments.. 💜🌠

I feel sad for you and all the people who are unaware of the great artwork of Raja Ravi Verma. His artwork is very beautiful, one of the most beautiful in my opinion. I wished you could have included at least one of his famous paintings in this collection!
Very well presented, thank you very much for producing this beautiful video work.

Absolutely great idea, wonderful ,excited, unusual ,Tank you so much for such a surprise❤
I love this video.I love art,especially paintings.
What humans are capable of...both in music and in art. Thanks for the reminder.
This is another form of art that impresses me and excites me. Painting is the visual art that captures the imagination of both the horizontal and vertical thinkers, though it is time consuming to do and entails more work ethics, once a masterpiece was achieve, it's worth the time and catching, money.
Magnificent but I also give a huge nod to all the artists works of art who will never see the light of day
It's a shame how many great artists remain unkown by the wider public. If you're interested in art, you'll find some beautiful pictures on my page too. For some times I had just poetry but now I started with other arts too. Let me know if you liked it. Cheers.
@@Atelier-KaRo thank you for inviting me into your world of creativity. You have amassed a lot of poetry and it is great to see and very inspiring. I don’t understand your language as I only know English but I appreciate and somehow understand from a creative point of view. I also found the writing fascinating in itself because to me , I am also viewing an expression of the strokes from the lettering that becomes another art form . I also liked Joe Brokerhoffs paintings in which reminds me of glimpsing into a future or another dimension where there is alot of subject matter to explore. Thanks again and good luck on your creative journey!
Thank you, kiddopedia, for this beautiful collection. It's lovely to come across painters/ paintings previously unknown to me, and to revisit those I have seen. To reply to some of you: it's difficult for him to include which museum a particular painting is at because most museums lend/share art with other museums, so paintings are often traveling between one museum and another. The internet is a vast resource of information about artists, painting styles, and paintings; and is a great way to introduce yourself to the art form. Ultimately, however, the most satisfying experience, imho, is to begin by visiting your local art museums and taking their guided tours. I hope this information helps. 😊
Thank you... quite a collection... "It is natural for the heart and spirit to take pleasure and enjoyment in all things that show forth symmetry, harmony, and perfection. For instance: a beautiful house, a well designed garden, a symmetrical line, a graceful motion,.." ~ Abdul-Baha, Baha'i Faith
I am always enchanted when I see ‚Sergents Lady Agnew of Lochnaw‘ (10:55) and right after it ‚Nighthawks‘ of my favorite painter. I wish there would be more of Hopper and Waterhouse, but otherwise a beautiful collection. The only paintings I didn’t know yet were ‚The Gross Clinic‘ of Thomas Eakins (4:46) and ‚Christina’s World‘ of Andrew Wyeth (6:07), both pretty impressive in their own way.
I appreciate the simplicity of the art and music. Very beautiful. If people want more information regarding the paintings they can search it on line.

These paintings are extremely exquisite from iconic painters. They all are masterpieces from genius artists. The pulchitrudeness of this paintings is impressive, so very well done with unique details making them look real. Thank you for the beautiful historical art works.
It’s very educational because I’m able to compare and distinguish artists by their paintings. Thank you!👏👏👏
I have watched this video over and over and absolutely love the way it is put together. My only other wish is that it mentioned the year it was produced. I will be using this to teach a bit of art history with my high school painting students. They have to list and identify the names and artist and categorize by movement or era. It’s a research study in the background over the semester.
Thank you very much for your comment. Yes, I plan to do more covering different eras. I will include the year.
