  • I met her at a bar in Hawai’i when I was not my best self if ya know what I mean and I told her how much the roles she played where she had cancer impacted me and how my parents were both struggling with it - she hugged me and offered to drive me home and said amazing things to me that I mostly forgot. My mom died of cancer on December 16 2023 but I just wanted to say thank you Shailene for being empathic towards a weird tipsy girl. Your spirit is correct!

    • @@fairlysleepy If your children have human empathy teachings about consent are worthless. It’s not impossible to get a “yes” out of someone who clearly DOESN’T want to play in the playground. Peer pressure, the fear of being left out, there’s plenty of reasons why someone will agree to things they don’t want to. Besides that, the kid was asked “If you’re married to somebody how do you, like, be a good partner to them?”. That’s what was asked before the kid answered, “That you have to take good care of each other, want to take each other’s consent”. It is painfully obvious that this is something he was taught about PARTNERSHIPS, not playgrounds. Which is what I’m talking about in my first comment.

  • I don't know if Julian [he's the host for those who don't know] or anybody on the crew know the old show Kids Say the Darnedest Things, but this is easily the modern day equivalent of it. You ask a question and let the kids basically control the interview, giving them the freedom to say what they want and then you just follow where they take you. This is easily one of the best and most wholesome shows on KZhead, and I love that you have integrated celebrity guests on it. It's just awesome and I'm absolutely in love with it. Keep up the amazing work. :)
