What is with this punching below th belt when your gonads are near the bottom of your shorts. The Belt lines on these trunks are at leat 4 inches wife and are way above the belly button so punching in this area is not in the gonad area and if the guy complains I would ask if his huevos are closer to his chest than his crotch. It always cracked me up to hear announcers say stupid $hit like, he can really take a punch," BIG DEAL!!!! So he takes a punch now and 20 years later, the guy can barely speak anymore because he could "take a punch"!!! My cousin, who won the welterweight title back in the mid-70's when they went 15 rounds not 12, he always said he would get out of boxing while he still had all his wits about him! He did just that and he went on to do some movies and TV shows because he could still talk intelligently. Some fighters unfortunately don't know what their cut off point is and they stay too long "taking a good punch" and ending up unfortunately with some form of brain damage. Me coming from a boxing family and loving the sport so much, i hate seeing that happen to so many good guys and good fighters!! Their management team sometimes are the ones who end up taking advantage of them and are the ones who keep them there too long, money can be a terrible thing!!!

Lara never engaged in the fight, it's why he wasn't given the win. One of the criteria that a boxer is judged on is general ringmanship, and he had none. Lara was chased the whole damn boxing match. The difference between the Lara fight and the Mayweather fight is that Mayweather often stood his ground and engaged.
