Waterparks Swap Instruments and Cover "Blonde" as OTTOPARKS

If you're anything like us, you've listened to the impossibly catchy Waterparks song "Blonde" about 10,000 times over the past year, but, you've NEVER heard "Blonde" like this before.
For the first time ever, Waterparks swapped instruments and played as OTTOPARKS in a clandestine performance in the basement of the world famous Cleveland Agora on their Entertainment North American Tour. Ottoparks is fronted by drummer turned lead vocalist Otto Wood, Geoff Wigington plays rhythm guitar and former lead singer/rhythm guitarist Awsten Knight takes his place behind the drum kit (which is really just a snare with a towel over the head...). If you love the Ottoparks version of "Blonde" as much as we did, keep your eyes peeled for their encore performance of "We Need To Talk" coming soon and only on APTV.

    • When you're not the singer, you only really ever learn the lyrics that coordinate with transitions and such... I've played drums in numerous bands over the last 8+ years (on top of studio work) and couldn't sing any of the hundreds of songs I've helped write lol

    • Well he didn't help write it and when you're on stage it's so loud you can't actually hear yourself. That's why if a singer is out of key they don't notice it. Because it's so loud they can't actually hear themselves so they probably can't hear Awsten singing. Their earpiece is what makes them stay in key. You'd be surprised how many guitarists and drummers don't know their own lyrics. 😂

    • I think bands swapping instruments for something like this is a great idea. IDKHow swapping roles would be so fun. Ryan would have a much easier time since he can play bass and sings back up. Seeing Dallon trying to play drums would be great and actually hearing what Ryan sings like would be interesting.
