My theory is that Scott doesn't have a plot for FNAF. He just makes whatever pops into his head in the moment, and then waits for Mat to write it for him, though some things he just doesn't agree with, so he changed some bits to keep Mat Pat in pain and in search of the truth, in turn making it so that Scott will always have more ideas to steal from the theories

I found one more connection between both book series. In the first fnaf novel Silver Eyes on page 76 the main characters talk about how they can almost feel the emotions from other people leeching off a place or object. This helps explain how animatronics can be fueled not just by the ghosts of dead children, but by the sheer force of human agony.

I just want to remind everyone that the first game was never supposed to be as deep as fans believed it to be, and it wasn't until MatPat, Dawko, 8-Bit Gaming, Smike, Razzbowski-- especially MatPat, started coming up with outlandish theories for the story that Scott got the idea to incorporate it into the games because it was what the fans-- no, not fans, what the *theorists* wanted, that it became what it is today. I love how Scott is still making stuff when we cant even put together a real timeline from the games that came out five years ago.
I don't think there's really supposed to be a timeline anymore. Not a solid one. You know how a lot of the Goosebumps books are loosely connected, just enough to make world out of the books? Fnaf is like that. I don't mind it, actually. The new books remind me a lot of Goosebumps, but they're even darker.

The more of these videos I watch, the more I think this was all planned. (Disclaimer; my only experience with anything fnaf related is via these theiry videos) The first thing that gets me is the repeating of "this is the last one" *more comes out rather rapidly*. Then there's the fact that the lore just fits together too well for it to have not been planned. I mean... look at Kingdom Hearts. They kept adding new stuff and it got to the point where the lore contradicts itself. The fnaf lore is confusing but makes more sense as more is revealed. From what I've seen in these videos, there aren't a lot of things that get contradicted that aren't explained later.
