I played AAA hockey when I was a teen and got to be a shooter for Kenesky's goalie school. Kenesky was a huge name then because of their goalie pads which were the #1 pads in hockey. There were NHLers at these schools and I met many stars. One day Alan Bester for whatever reason dressed up in full gear and let us take shots on him. I was a very good 14-year-old AAA player playing against the best goalies in their cities and coming in on a break-away against Alan was ridiculous. It literally changed from trying to score on him to see if you could get close enough to make a move without him firing out a laser poke-check that you felt was actually meant to break your ankles. It was insane. And forget about taking shots on him. I had the hardest slap-shot on my team and when I would really get into one where goalies my age would tell me to take it easy, Alan's body language of course was like an NHLer was flinging warm-up snap-shots lol. At this school, it was the only time one of the NHL guys put his gear on so they were usually instructing with skates, gloves, and a regular hockey stick. All I can tel you is, to a man they were the best snipers I had ever been on the ice with. The way those guys could shoot a puck with a regular stick was mindblowing. They could stand on the hash-marks and fire lasers into the top corners like you'd think only the best NHL snipers could pull off. But that's the level of the NHL. Any goalie that has ever been drafted by an NHL team is, without doubt, an actual freak of nature and the truth is, the ones who become the best of the best are not really that much better than the other guys skills-wise they simply have the mental game figured out. Dominick Hasek notwithstanding because in all honesty I'm not entirely convinced that man was actually human lol

"You cant try the no-move on a tendy with 70 speedness"
BarDown needs it's own channel. I said this before but I'll say it again.
This series is definitely one of the best
I loved that video! And I’m waiting to see what happens here… well I can imagine 😂😂😂😂 Jessie ‘s pic hahahahahaha
3:30 had me laughing 😂 idk why but Jesse always cheeks his way through life 😂
You know what I want to see? a 90+ vs. a 60, just to see how big the skill difference is
If only there was a National Hockey League for something like that
dude love how you can see him trying not to laugh to much so he can save its funny
Go simmer !!! This guy is an amazing goalie! Definitely going to the show 🤩
He really impressed at Arizona's camp.
Love the NHL99 audio edits. One of my favorite NHL games to this day
Wow,so happy that you guys know what the Forsberg move is, that is 28 years ago...!! Cheers from Sweden....
I love how he says he had a great style and still has 69 as a nimber
Getty Lee called he wants his shades back.
I would love to try something like this, I know I suck but I want to see just how good good players are on the ice
Love these vids!!
Loved that the team was watching and chirping
Ok this should be a regular show on KZhead! The Three guys are funny af
He was a councilor at a goalie camp I went to, great guy
Every small community in Canada has a goalie that would be super difficult to score on and they would all rate lower than this guy.
When I saw the title I thought, they were able to get Michael Hutchinson to do a bardown video?
Lmao
A 60 overall would be way too high for him
When he said he was feeling very confident, I believed him cause of the glasses he was rocking.
Jesse was saying “mmm” and Michel was just laughing the whole time.
The NHL 99 sound bites are the best part about this!
This guy looks like stoned Nick Ritchie, who coincidentally also played for the Petes
Bardown is the best hockey content on youtube
LETS GO NEW BARDOWN VIDEO
Should do one with London knights, like can u do a 10-2 skating style with Strange's or best goalie this season
we need more of these vids
Seeing the eyes of your opponent is huge would like to see the first shots again without the sunglasses.
Can we get a one of these. Probably my fav videos to date!!!!!!
That was a good wrist shot to the top corner over his glove, that was actually very nice
Great vid once again
This man’s been my backup since day 1 ahahaaa
Fun video to watch!
We need a 3 ovr Jesse Pollock
Love this content but we need more quizzes
Fellas I think I’m scoring this one! Said at 4:20 in those shades. Jesse got some things going on😂
the jets goal horn inside joke is so funny
Lets gooo baby, how can anybody hate Jesse, he always makes these videos extra good
Keep this series going
I love you guys!
Love your vids
Lol I love watching these guys, makes me feel much better about my own abilities.
You know you’re not as good as them
@@dailysmiles easily "as good as them". I'm not claiming to be way better, because I'm not a great player. Just above average for this group of cool and dedicated guys, so like I said, makes me feel a lil better about my own level.
DZ wiping out at the end was golden
One of the best synergy goalies around
LOVE LOVE LOVE that candid photo of Jesse
Good vid!
YEA I loved these
Hahaha this is so hilarious , these guys are such benders but nice guys . It’s gold
Bardown needs its own channel
I’d be really interested to see an NHL player or ex player join your group for these videos. It might give the viewers more of an appreciation of their skills, and might help motivate EA
THIS
Bro the venom mask is badass!!
Can we for a second stop and appreciate goalies for tolerating their position at all? Stopping a puck is a lot harder if you can't guarantee the freight train shooting it is going to stop before they run into you.
I’d be interested in seeing how they’d stack up against a guy whose a silver in the game, since silver is like borderline NHL. Maybe like Hendrix Lapierre since he’s seen some NHL action this year and he seems like a funny dude
Would be cool but Hendrix is easily NHL caliber skill wise. Only reason he’s in the AHL is for experience.
@@LeviDocs true the guy is an absolute beast and will definitely be a major part of these next few years for the caps, so maybe not the best fit for that type of video. Also rn he’s in the QMJHL again, not the AHL sadly
Quality content
Props to the keeper for bothering to even entertain these hosers🤣😂🤣🇺🇸🇨🇦✌️
“It was BarDown and out” Roll credits
You guys are great
Yo the Carnage mask though!!
Kylo Ren needs different sunglasses.
those NHL 99 sound effects though? lmfao love it
I love how it’s been a month and they still haven’t released the road trip vid 😂
The NHL 99 soundbites are what really make this pure gold for me.
those are some sick skates!
Whats better corwins puck handling or dz trying to put 3 fingers up
those players are far and away better player players than most people in the world. All so young. good for them for being good sports.
The NHL 99 sound effects lmao
Why did DZ’s fall at the end look like an animation from the game when you get hit 😂
that random sugur in the middle of a sentance was a beauty
I'm most curious what's up with those glasses 😂 lmao
Simmer has the best smile I have ever seen what a great guy
I play at that arena sometimes I play AAA for central Ontario wolves we’re the pets rivals
I miss playing in the Patch Cup every Thanksgiving weekend!
