This game could of been deadass the best Godzilla game if Bandai and Toho delayed it for further polishing + had DLC + was ported to other consoles outside of the PS
they ran out of time, they actually wanted to add more monsters then what we got, kong was one of them, if they were given an extra year or two it probably would've been great since they probably wanted to add more then just attacking the gens

Given enough care for multiplayer, thr game can even be timeless. Sure, give some updates here and there every few movie entry. Heck, even movies prior to 2014's Legendary G has alot of Kaiju foes to add into DLC roster.

Iirc, they had a whole set deadline to release it during the 60th anniversary, which they did on the PS3, followed by PS4 which was then taken down. And now I guess it's on the PS5? (According to the title)

That was the plot of Godzilla destroy all monsters. I never got to play save the Earth, but I was very interested in it.

This game had so much potential. It’s got the monsters, the charm, but it failed in execution. We DESPERATELY need another Godzilla fighting game (and it’d be super epic if they added the Godzilla from Shin, and the Godzilla from Minus One)!!!
Ehh, i think it's pretty good, especially for PS4/5 version. It just lacks the arcade feeling of PS2/Wii Godzilla game trilogy, for once, a Godzilla game is about destroying cities & unlikely matchups. I even enjoyed the clunkier much more limited PS3 version, after 4-5 runs with God of Destruction Mode ofc.
