Recently there are lot of visitors mainly from USA with hate speech towards German while most of them have never been in Germany before and read propaganda materials about Germany. I do not hate Americans or any race as I am citizen of the Earth and I feel proud of it but meanwhile shameful of narrow minded people. To all visitors with hate or discrimination comments if you are from USA, please look up Wikipedia or any source to see how Germans and German Americans have been contributing to your society and lot of inventions by Germans are made into use these days for all human races as long as other races on this earth.

I am not painting or put any seeds to your mind to love Germany or Germans but please go away if you hate any race in this planet. My page does not absolutely welcome you.

I miss Germany dearly and I am trying my best to return there soon. I post it here for personal use and for those who are interested in Germany and nature. It is absolutely not for commercial purposes. If any organisation or individual has copyright for this video and wants me to put your source or even wishes me to remove, please put into my attention since now I do not know the true owner of this video. Thanks in advance.
I will remove all of comments of haters, discrimination, pre-judgment and narrow minded people. If you hate Germany, please go away and move on other appropriate pages that fit with your narrow mind.

  • I Love Germany and the people, towns and especially the Rhine River. I was in the US Army from 1958 to 1979. I was in Germany off and on for roughly 9 1/2 years and I definitely enjoyed my tours of duty. My Wife was with me and she really loved it there. I have served in Goeppingen, Stuttgart, Nellingen, near Esslingen. May God Bless the people and the country of Germany.

  • Thanks very much for this video and for your introductory remarks. I live in the USA and am disappointed that you have had negative comments from Americans since a majority of Americans trace their origin to German lands. Also, it is super that you have an excellent German accent in pronouncing the names of towns and cities.

  • I'm American, and I love Germany and it's amazing people. As a matter of fact, anytime I can buy something manufactured in Germany, I do so. I know of no one who "hates" Germany. I'm not saying there's not one person in the U.S. that hates Germany, but no more than any other country. Someone who dislikes another country for absolutely no reason is a moron anyways. Thanks for the vid!

  • I lived in Germany for a long time and absolutely loved it. I rarely was in the large cities, preferring instead to live and work in a small town in the south. The people I met were kind, polite, and more than willing to advise visitors as to interesting local places to visit and explore. I never met any hateful German people in these small towns, they are proud of their towns and histories dating back centuries and happy to share with tourists.

  • Your comments are very well said. There are people like that all over the world. My grandfather was from Berlin and it is my dream trip to visit my heritage. Matter of fact it is more than a dream, it is a must for me. I am very proud of my German heritage and I am very proud of German itself. And you are right, German Americans have contributed immensely to the US. Can't wait to see it someday. Thanks for your video.

  • Looking at the Rhine River in all of its beauty and peacefulness today, is dis-congruent to the knowledge that one my cousins was killed at Bingen-on-the-Rhine on 29 November 1944. It shows how much life and death are sometimes connected. My cousin was acting as a co-pilot on a US B-17 that had the mission of bombing the Marshalling Yards at Bingen where River Boats and the Railroad were bringing in supplies and equipment for the German army at the battle of the Budge in Belgium in December 1944. He was 20 years of age and on his first mission over enemy territory. The B-17 was hit over Bingen just after its bomb run by German Anti-Aircraft fire as it was turning to return to England. Of the 10 crew members on the Aircraft; five were killed and five ended up in a POW camp for the rest of the war. My cousin was buried in one of the public cemeteries near Bingen for the reminder of the war. His remains are now back in the US as of 1948. By the way, I have not seen or witnessed any of this expressed so called hatred toward Germans by Americans as witnessed by the author of this page. I have witnessed only respect for the German people as a whole. Everyone may not always agree with the present German government, and its policies, but most Americans fell kindred and friendship to the German people and do not hold present day Germans responsible for anything that occurred in their history. Of course, it is only important that Germans agree with their governmental policies anyway. Germans are only responsible for their own deeds as anyone else. My ancestry goes back to Germany and according to my DNA test Germans make up 40% of my ancestry. I had always thought that my main ancestry was English and Irish, but actually it is German. I consider myself an American first, and a citizen of the world second.

  • I am Polish, living in UK 9 years. As many Polish family my suffered during II WW as well. My wife's grandfather was imprisoned in Auschwitz. However I don't keep grudge to Germans. People in 30'& 40' were deceived that's why sick individuals came to power. It is warning to all of us not just to Germans. Germany is a great, ancient nation with hundreds years of positive and inspirational influence to Europe and maybe the whole world. Their culture was and is an amazing. Since middle age they created lot of unique engineering and scientific discoveries. As a fan of books I like the most Guttenberg. Martin Luther (it is not by accident the same name of the USA black activist) - alone monk stood bravely against the whole sick and false system in the name truth and God. German history is greater than 100 years (both wars) and longer than 250 years (when military orientated Prussia overtook Germany). I admire its culture, vitality and potential. We're going to visit Germany this summer. I have to teach my young children truth and tolerance.

I know it not just from books but most at all from people who were part of WW II event. They, German Nazis even harmed your country as you are German because Germany lost its historical land owned since Middle Age (West Pomerania and East Prussia). Just 13 years raid of lunatic politician and such terrible consequences for Germany

  • Let's be frank here: all European countries are unique in their own way (and often related to each other) but Germany has a rather unique position in Europe (I can hear the French grumble): compare it to our solar system. Economically and politically (and to an extent culturally and scientifically) most of Europe revolves around Germany. Particularly in my own country, the Netherlands, it would be fair to say that if Germany coughs, we catch pneumonia.

  • Way too many people associate Germany with Nazism, and while it's true that Nazism played a major part in the country's history, there's much, much more to the country than that. It's a fascinating land, although to be honest I don't have that much knowledge or interest in their post-1945 history. Just know a few basic things of that period (Cold War pressures, division of the land, Berlin Airlift, Berlin Wall, reunification).
