Running Wild's last 3 albums are all solid. Very solid. And their gems match any metal bands' best. A lot of people shit on the last several RW albums but haven't really listened to them more than once, if at all.
Blazon Stone's changed their singer since this album. I think they've made 3 albums with the new one. He's pretty good and elevates the enjoyment of the music.
@@qayss8977 Theres a reason people shit on the latest Running Wild albums, they don't even reach "ok" quality, Running Wilds older material can give a lot of metal albums a run for their money.

I've visited the Vasa museum in Stockholm, Sweden. Awesome ship. I'm actually glad it sank in harbor so that it could be preserved for our day :)

I think this can be considered a tribute band. They don't play covers, but this is actually a better homage. Good album.

I been a Running Wild fan since 2000 and i never heard this band before, actually just stumpled onto it after listening to Silverbones. this may be the best metal i heard in a couple of years. frekkin awesome!

RUNNING WILD 2000
The guy behind this (Ced) is a big fan of Running Wild. You can hear some similarities in his other band, Rocka Rollas. I think one of the members of Running Wild (don't remember which one) was going to play on one of his albums. Also, gotta say that it's impressive how musical Ced is. If I'm not mistaken, he did everything on this album (including producing it) except for vocals.
66%, good solid effort. fun listen. Running Wild is at 100%. I like the way that they plays it the black hand inn speed which is my favorite. Hi from Canada.

at first i think this album was from the 80's because the musical style. then i see the caption it was from the 2013 but then i see running wild song titled port royal, and i then knew blazon stone was influenced so much by them. now i know why it sounds like 80's power metal band and i like it :D

They copy Running Wild style quite good. But Rolf Kasparek's voice is still better, its unique, for me much proper for pirate metal.

I remember listening to this a couple of years back and didn't really like it. Man how wrong was I... There are some flaws here, but overall this is an amazing album! I just have to get the CD, and I'm glad Stormspell released one since I remember the original release being out of print.

I just realized this is not Running Wild by reading the comments, lol. They sound pretty much like them, although personally I don't like the singer's voice. Rolf's is way better, in my opinion

After listening to NO SIGNS of GLORY I wanted to hear RETURN to PORT ROYAL. With this album there’s a bit of a change up but it’s not a whole lot. I’m still hearing plenty of epic sounding tunes peeling away, but hey… too each is own if you like that. There are 2 tunes which change things up as mentioned, ‘Stand your Line’ (RW Bad to the Bone/Soulless) and ‘The Tale of Vasa’ (RW Battle of WaterLoo) which are quite interesting! I think most of you RW fans will agree when you listen to these songs that combining sources together was pretty darn clever and it works. RW does run away with a lot of epical songs but they also know how to pace themselves as well. Regardless… with Blazon Stone you can’t get closer to the real thing.
