Where is Kate Middleton? Edited family photo backfires, sending social media into further frenzy
A photo released by Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, earlier this month was meant to calm speculation as to her whereabouts.
Instead, it had the opposite effect. The plan backfired after five major news agencies issued a “kill notice” for the portrait of Middleton and her three children, barring the photo over concerns that “it appears the sources has manipulated the image.”
Global’s Joe Scarpelli speaks with Shana MacDonald, associate professor of Communication Arts at the University of Waterloo, about the recent controversy and how questions over here whereabouts have sent social media into a frenzy.

The biggest mystery is why Prince William didn’t do his reading at church for the Greek Royal Constantin’s memorial, when he was just 45 minutes from the time. I’m sure the public will know what they need to know in good time.

Right at the start, when Catherine was admitted to hospital, we were told that she would be away until at least Easter and there has been no change to that. She and William took a photo of her and the children which she, like thousands of other amateur photographers edited in post production to get all the faces smiling together, there are Photoshop programs that do that sort of thing by combining a number of images shot at the same time and merged to make the picture. I believe that the media, not having copyright and unable to sell the picture on, decided to cause a dispute which would enable them to create chaos which would then give them an excuse to create more publicity and income for them. I suppose you could consider that as another 'conspiracy theory' if you like.!

I find it interesting that the Harkles are so secretive aka private about Meggys medical condition during her so called pregnancies….while demanding details of Catherine’s current medical condition be published. The end result of Meggys two medical conditions had a huge effect on the line of succession which is significant! Everyone is entitled to privacy. She deserves to heal in peace. It isn't like she's been missing for 6 months,The world is in crises and this is the News. its shocking.
People should simply look up the Associated Press photo guideline rules. Official photos should not be altered. At all. If they are altered they must be accompanied by a captioned detailing what was altered. Kate is an avid photographer. She holds patronage of the Royal Photographic Society and she can take photos of her children and send them officially on their birthday.
