My view: He is a poor highschool student that doesn't have much things, no good food (in condition and health) to eat, nor any vehicular transportation. He has an abusive, achoholic uncle for a guardian who doesn't do much for him. He lives in a suprisingly rich neighborhood, and watches the other kids get kissed on the cheek and hugged by their parents as they leave in a nice car. (Shown earlier) Which is something he doesn't have, and cries because he wants that. As a person who used to be poor, this sorta speaks to me. Yeah, I had nice siblings and a good family, but we were well, *b r o k e.* (we weren't homeless, so we all still ate food. Given the "children first" rule, I question now if my parents even got to eat.) We couldn't afford any nice things, but that's okay. We all had rich souls, right? And it taught us all unity, creativity, and teamwork. It somewhat made us stronger. My dad now has a good paying job, and can afford to provide for his family as I am grateful for. If you struggle, think of it as a blessing. It makes you stronger and experienced.
