Disclaimer: the first 10 seconds in the intro the Ticking Clock NON COPYRIGHT backing song I used decided 16 hours later to be a copyrighted song so… I had to mute it using KZheads editing feature so that explains why the first 10 seconds sounds poor quality, KZhead can be weird at times sorry
I figured it was because you went through 27 years of football, from analogue to digital and HD today. Nice coincidence then.
@doodleplop800 honestly same, I would've just gone along with it haha. We wouldn't have known 😂😂😂
I love ur viedos I just can’t stand ur voice

@@doodleplop800 me too! Should’ve played it off that way 😂
Kind of poetic that Luton is promoted while Leicester going down. It's like telling us that when a fairytale ends, another one begins.
I felt that
or just one crap performing team replaced by a good performing team.

The only thing this video is missing is the fact that the money from being in the Premier League will not only pay for our new stadium but also 1,200 new houses, leisure, restaurants, bars, a retail centre and community areas which will help rejuvenate the town, this all before the council decide what to do with the land that Kenilworth Road currently sits on. This promotion secures the club's future for 50 years to come and will help rejuvenate the town as a whole!
Very good point, this protects the club and puts them in a healthy position for years and years if the owners does nothing stupid haha! Congrats mate!
@@Vizeh the owners ultimate goal is to make sure the club never returns to the dark times again. Promotion to the Premier League doesn’t feel real, I started watching Luton when I was 3 years old in 2008 (the -30 season) and rode the wave of this beautiful football club and I fear that I may wake up and we’ll be playing Braintree again.
@@benltfc8462 or maybe Braintree are about to have a fairy tale of a rise as well, who knows 😁
They will finish in 16
@@benltfc8462 Agreed. Whatever happens next season it'll be a dream, and management have already said they are not planning on betting the house and overspending.
I left the UK in 1991 and now live in the Philippines but I spent my childhood and teenage years growing up in Luton. The first professional game I ever saw on my own, ie not with my dad, was standing in the Oak Road watching Luton beating Palace when I was 11 or 12 years old. Those were the days of Alan West, Ricky Hill and Brian Stein. Well done, Luton.
That’s really fantastic to hear man, hope you’re enjoying life in Philippines!
Sorry to hear that you grew up in Luton man, glad you live in happier places now
@@SamS-uv2ql Yeah, I know, but I left for Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Vientiane and now Antipolo (Philippines). The past is definitely the past.
Lol, you never get a lot of Filipinos who's family's sport was football/soccer. Honestly, that's kinda cool. Everyone I knew grew up on basketball and boxing where we had parties during both the Manny Pacquiao and Linsanity days
@@FF18Cloud We kept up the Manny Pacquiao parties right until the end of his career. On a number of occasions a few of us made a trip to the Philippines from Hong Kong to watch the fight simply for the atmosphere. When we couldn't do that we took over a bar in Wanchai. Manny was later replaced in our affections by Anthony Joshua and the Filipino guys follow him with as much passion as they did manny.
Mpanzu's story in itself is what makes this even better, imagine if he can help DR Congo qualify for the next World Cup, their first in 50+ years
He came up from my local clubs academy which is Boreham Wood fc, never would of imagined 11 years ago he'd be playing premier league football!
That would be incredible too, I think DR Congo has a good chance!
@@harrybean6693 he also played for west ham
@@danny9008 yeah man West Ham signed him from Boreham wood in Jan 2012 if memory serves me well!
When we first got promoted to the championship i started telling people how my favourite luton player could become the first player to go from the 5th to 1st division with one club but i didnt really realise the size of it till now
Luton are really the definition of how a club should be ran. A board who thoroughly care about the club, passionate fans, a great set of coaching staff and some great managers over the years. I've been watching Luton closely ever since we knocked them out of the FA cup and listened to all of Rob Edwards' press conferences and it's no surprise that they managed to get over the line. Rob is a truly great head coach who has developed a special, special relationship with his players and they work so hard for him on the pitch. It'll also be great seeing Kenilworth Road in the premier league next year, it's a stadium with such great character and adds so much to the league to differ from all the modern stadiums we see today. Luton, all the best in the top flight from us Grimsby fans, you deserve it
Fantastic comment mate, Luton Town should be a shining light to give all clubs in football pyramid hope of being at the top!
It is a great story. I wanted Luton Town to get promoted to the Premier League and they did it. Their home form will definitely be crucial. Especially at their unique home ground. Cannot wait to see them play in the Premier League and see how their season unfolds.
Same here mate!
I'm just glad that out of all the teams in the league, we lost in the final with the final kick, to Luton. Losing to anyone else would have been horrible, losing to Sunderland would have been utterly gut-wrenching, but Luton more than deserved the win, we've risen up the leagues together and they came from even further down than us, and there was nothing but respect before during and after the match. And they'll stay up and they'll benefit so much from the money. All love Hatters, enjoy yourselves
It’s unfortunate that both teams have such a fantastic story and faced hard times that one had to miss out, With Robins you’ll be back pal!
Tlreally hope you Coventry boy come and join us next season, will be incredible to see luton v Coventry in the Premier league, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you guy next season!!! Ps do us a favour and smash watford for us 😉
That's good to hear. I would love to see Coventry back in the prem next season. I'm old enough to remember them there... big coventry, big club... they should be there. I want Leeds and Coventry to be back next year. We need more sky blues
Luton's story truly is a fairytale, from conference to prem in less than 10 years with no mega takeover is just insane, I honestly think they'll survive next season and come about 16th, momentum is a powerful thing, look at Bournemouth when they first got promoted, and Luton have had buckets of that for years.
Bournemouth are fantastic story too! It's great the fact that they've done it with quiet but incredible investment over time aswell!
Luton Town's story feels like that FIFA Career Mode you start with a team in League 2 and create a storyline to get them into the EPL with a small budget and smart recruitment. Now, we've literally seen it all. They're quite a good side with pace upfront and I hope financially they can at least bolster a squad that can keep them afloat next season.
Im a hereford fan and how they went from playing us to playing some of the biggest clubs in the world is simply incredible!
Up the Hereford lad, had many people request a Ronnie Radford Print recently!
@Vizeh yeah if you do one that would be real good ronnie radford is like an absolute saviour to us and it would be really touching since he sadly died in november
John Still is an unbelievable manager and gent - great servant to Dagenham & Redbridge as well!
From what I saw, he looks very highly respected!
@@Vizeh Had similar success with Dagenham, took us from the conference to our heights up in League one. I think after Ferguson retired & moyes moved to united Still was the longest serving FL/PL manager for a bit? Great at finding talent further down the pyramid - the top goalscorer in 06/07 when Dagenham won the conference was someone he signed from White Ensign down in the 11th tier with 28 goals!
John Still is a legend, he started all this comeback for Luton, very clever man and extremely respected
Is he related to Will Still?
What really dawned on me is the season they won the national league, I was celebrating Birmingham City staying up in the championship on the final day at Bolton thanks to a last minute goal by Paul Caddis. In the years since, we had 2 10th place finishes, other than that we have not finished higher than 17th in the championship. Truly stagnant and going nowhere. The rise of Luton is one thing, but massive respect has to be given to the way they have been managed on and off the pitch. Absolutely chuffed to bits for them and wish them the best in staying up next season
Crazy to think about, I like Blues I hope you get some luck soon!
As a Leeds fan, you’ve earns our place, enjoy it and wish you all the best
Unpopular opinion Luton will survive relegation
nah mate they are finishing dead last
@@user-sn3us6mr8f tbf everyone said that about Bournemouth
Sheffield United will also stay up
I believe they can too, home form will be powerful and their play-style is awkward for any team to come up again!
@@ClwzRedmenYNWA Liverpool?
Luton towns stadium should be cherished and protected in my opinion
True but rules were brought in early 90s and other teams have spent money bringing stadiums in line. Why should Luton be different?
Luton will easily stay up because of their play style it will take a while for the teams to find them out and the massive motivation boost these players will get
They do offer something completely different, I want to back them (as long as they give Burnley 6 points)
Easily? Cmon now. I wish them the best of luck but they’re gonna have a hard time staying up next year.
i was lucky enough to be at wembley with my dad. the whole luton side went mad when coventry missed the penalty and i was in tears. thank you for making this video liam. still cant believe premier league football is coming to my town
This is what football is made of man, enjoy every second of it! Congrats!
Luton coming 16th. They have the heart and whenever small clubs get into the league they always stay up due to pure adrenaline
proper honest club in the premier league, well done Luton
What very few people realise is that they could have a very bright future. Their U18 and U16 teams won their leagues this season too, so if they can push these players up into the first team, they will continue to recruit well and save millions instead of buying. Watch out for a very smart midfielder called Zac in their U16s team. I watched him play 3 or 4 times now and he is so comfortable on the ball. Future Iniesta or Xavi
Buzzing for Luton, but still heartbroken as a Coventry fan. Hope you guys can somehow survive next year.
I am genuinely just so happy that they've been promoted, because while I am from Denmark, lots of my family come from Luton and they've been there since day one
That’s really cool man, hope you’re well!
Luton fan here, tysm for making a video covering our journey. excellent video. Hopefully we can do well in the prem. COYH 🧡🧡🧡
A few points to note. When Luton Town won the Johnstone Paint EFL Trophy in 2009 they were bottom of league league Two (due to point deduction), in the lowest possible position for a team in the EFL trophy. Their opponents, Scunthorpe were top of league One, the highest possible position for a team in the EFL trophy Also the 3-2 win after extra time was an absolute nail biter. BBC sport called it "arguably the best game of football seen at the rebuilt Wembley." Luton's mere presence in that final also gave the 40000 fans the chance to express their feeling towards the Chairman of the football league, responsible for the decision to deduct 30 points from Luton. He was roundly booed as he opened the ceremony. Lastly not only were Luton NOT a money bag team, their wage bill for the 22/23 season relative to performance was 2nd best in the championship, beaten only by Coventry City, their play off final opponents (Luton fourth lowest wage bill in championship yet finished third in the table) They really are the honey badgers of the English Football League
Hopefully Coventry replicate what Brentford, Villa and Luton have done after playoff heartbreak in recent years and come up next year.
As a Wrexham fan I’m watching the Luton town story very closely. It could just happen to us🏴
Elliot Lee in 2 fairytale stories would be nice
Look the way of Heidenheim. It will be your way 😊
luton defenders having to play against haaland next season is going to be fun to watch
Haaland one season wonder
@@glencurtis6052 :))))))) that's delusional to say the least..
Great video, thanks for this. These fans of super clubs in the prem throwing shade on Luton and their stadium can bore off. They wouldn't know grassroots football and what it feels like to be part of a community if it punched them in the face. Luton have already stuck two fingers up to everyone who said they couldn't do it. This is already redemption to make the top flight from a 30 point deduction to relegate us to non-league. Luton have nothing to lose next season. The atmosphere around the club, town and fans is fantastic, they can do themselves proud no season no matter what happens. There are probably 7/8 teams who can realistically get relegated from the prem and Luton will fight for everything. Also commiserations to Coventry City and their fans. A club like us that had sunk down the football league and fought for their future. I felt for you guys, if we hadn't made it I would have been gutted but happy for Coventry
Other teams have spent money bringing their stadiums in line with the Taylor report which could have been spent on transfers or wages Great achievement getting promoted but your ground was Conference standard when I was last there in 1997 so don't play that card
@@glencurtis6052 play what card? The club have tried repeatedly for a new stadium and faced legal issues regarding planning permission. Kenilworth Road will be a prem stadium. Luton have earnt the right to be there.
Only recently moved here and im sooo invested in this team ❤
I have a feeling their home ground will be a fortress and it’s home form that keeps you up.
As much as it hurts as a Watford fan, I admire what they have done with Limited resources and don't begrudge Rob Edwards the success. They have exactly what Watford need, a TEAM and not a collection of players. Congratulations and hopefully we play eachother in the Premier League in 2024.
I remember sitting at many away games in the national league. Travelling a 500 mile round trip to see us beaten 5-1 by Darlington. I sat at Wembley this weekend proud of the team and proud of the town. Very positive to see the Asian community there in numbers. A team on the up and hopefully a town on the up. COYH
I’m in the same boat as you and people will doubt us next season, but we know how good Mick Harford and Rob Edwards recruitment is. I think we’ll finish 16th or 17th. COYH!
I think we won't waste money we will add a few bits of quality and I reckon we will shock a few teams especially at home
Brilliant video but Gary Sweet needs a mention. Given his heart and soul since joining and he’s been the driver of the great recruitment they’ve had recently, not to mention being on point with managerial appointments and dealing with losing star players like Andre gray and James Justin
Apologies I missed that, Andre was a great player when we had him at Burnley!
Let us not forget that Burnley are back in the prem with over 100 points.
Great video , have followed Luton since the 70's , so seen it all good & bad. People who go on about the ground need to appreciate that the Kenny is a true historic heritage ground , our main stand was second hand when it got moved to the Kenny so well over 100 years old , now that's history .
Coming from luton and being a long time supporter of luton town fc im proud to see my small team grow into what it is today
As a Bournemouth fan, what Luton have done is incredible, well done to them! Can't wait to see them in the Premier League! And hoping they stay up!
Not sure what being a Bournemouth fan has to do with it but thanks
People have forgotten Wimbeldon. Went from amateur to FA cup winners and finishing top 6
Yes
WE ARE PREMIERE LEAGUE I SAID WE ARE PREMIERE LEAGUE. The last couple of days the town has been partying and the atmosphere has been unreal. Really good for this Town.
Full respect to you Vizeh! So well researched! 👏
So proud I cried when I got home from Wembley on Saturday. Astonishing.
I'm a Watford fan and have nothing but respect for Luton Town. Their owners, business model are everything WFC are not. Good luck next season, it really is a fairytale story and good for the game. I think you have every chance of staying up and I hope you do. We all need good feel stories like this, regardless of rivalries.

Make a video about Ruch Chorzów if they get promoted back to the Polish Ekstraklasa, the most successful Polish team in history that until recently was playing in the 4th tier before making an amazing comeback to the top
Would love too, I don't think my twitter comments will allow me to doa video on anything Polish sadly haha
I was at Wembley when we lost to York in 2012, and then watched as we beat Norwich next season. Even then I never thought id get to see them in the prem. I watched the final this weekend in the pub and it was something I'll remember forever. Up the town!
@Vizeh - I’ve started really enjoying your style of content, have watched quite a few of them in the past few days. Thanks for the quality content
Dont forget, the reason they are called "The Hatters" is from a massive hat making history there

Fair play to luton, showing everyone it's possible to get to the top with hardwork and teamwork not just money

Happy I got into football last year just in time to watch my local get promoted it's great
Youre the man for doing this vid bro
As a Canadian I didn’t know any of this. I really appreciate the video.
Good video, well researched, I agree , our asset will be our home, Vincent Kompany paid us the compliment, he said he wanted to see us in the Premiership, and to see how some teams will cope with the “atmosphere “.....
1st off great vid great insight to my club. but i want to say to say to fans of clubs in lower leagues, you don't need money you need good owners who love your club, not out for a profit or promoting self interest, get that and concentrate on finding the gems which other clubs overlook and you can do it. don't give up hope. we didn't, selling out in the conference, full house and believe, would love to see more clubs in lower leagues give the oligarchs a bloody nose. good luck coventry next season it could have been you.
Luton will place 16 pretty comfortably they are unbelievable and I think they can go far btw great last few videos keep up the work
Loving these documentary style videos
So true what you said about English heritage, the prem has a new layer to it now 😀❤️🏴
You brothers went down and up like a damn siren! Congratulations from an Eastleigh fan!!!
Love this, I’m a Hatters fan from Australia, started supporting them back in 2013 when I visited the UK, what a club 🟠🎩
I dont have the biggest knowledge about football so watching your channel is great for learning 👍
Really enjoyed your video, mate. Honestly, I wasn't paying any attention to Luton Town before they signed Ethan Horvath (I'm American) on loan from NF back in July. Which, I believe, was a significant factor in their success. I love a good underdog story, so I will be pulling for Luton to stay up next season. The final against Coventry was exciting to say the least. I'm hoping they will pick up some of the other Americans that will undoubtedly be on the market over the summer (Aaronson, McKinnie, Adams from Leeds and/or Pulisic from Chelsea). The former players will be available at a discount, I'd imagine. Anyway, congrats to Luton Town! I'll be watching next season and will hopefully be able to attend a match next Spring when I'm in England on vacation. Good luck, Boys!
Part of me wants to see City open either at Turf Moor or at Kenilworth, I think it'll be a fun watch that opening weekend! At the same time though I feel like City hasn't opened the season at home in years.
Great vid my man!! What if we do a Leicester in our 2nd season?😊

As a football fan I'm very delighted to see the promotion of Luton Town. This is why we love football. It's clubs like Luton Town which helds the spirit of football at the core.
Great video. Hope they stay up next season sticking it to the FA!
Remember them beating my team (Wrexham ) in back to back playoff semis 10 or 11 years ago and to see them hit Premier league in less than a decade is amazing. Proper football story . Well done Luton . Hope we can join you there one day
Yeah it’s never a boring season with us
And never will be hahaha
Even as a watford fan, i applaude this.
I was there for the 09 win at Wembley, and I was there at Wembley the other day to see Luton get promoted to the premier league. Amazing.
Excellent stuff, Viz! ...Although also, gotta wonder how Watford feels after firing Edwards and seeing all of this happen this year.
Seeing as the board just offered a new contract to the guy who told the Pozzo's to get rid of Edwards, most of them are fuming, which is hilarious 😅
