This is an important comparison, and the differences for some may not be enough to upgrade or consider one phone over the other, but I am curious to see what you all think about this phone.

Correct, the S21fe is made of aluminum, it is very easy to identify it, all phones with metal frames must have plastic divisions for the antennas.
The s21 fe is a much better value

@statue4569 for your info I have the galaxy s23 ultra so be careful before your judging the reason why I'd say s23 fe is terrible value cause you could get the s23+ for around the same price used in mint condition you have the one plus 11 nothing phone 2 just cause you have it and others disagree doesn't mean others are broke stop pretending like the s23 fU is the most premium most expensive in the market enjoy your galaxy a54s

I have 23, its my first new phone in over 5 or 6 years. I drove an iphone 6s+ for that time.. I think I like big old android s23 fe. About your video its good but think you and all content makers should flip phones over in your hand more to show the front more.
Currently using s23 fe I love it been using for a little over 2 months now.. easy switch from my old phone s21+ that the speakers went out on had it paid off didn't want to trade it in and get locked in another contract went to metro got the s23 fe and I can honestly say I like it
Hey thanks for the video and I totally agree with your final thoughts . I would encourage anyone to physical see the S23 fe before buying because it is ugly with those bezels and looks quite dated and it's chucking and it's heavy . After I went to bestbuy and checked it out I bought a used mint condition s21 Fe for $225 . I guess if you can get the s23 fe free on a carrier deal then it might be a good deal but even then I wouldn't .

Guess everyone is different cause I think the s21 fe is ugly. S23 fe looks way more premium to me. I think the s20 fe looked way better too! Yeah it's got some bigger bezels but once you start using it those bezels become an afterthought. The s23 fe in everyday use performs just as good as my s22 ultra did.
The sides of the S21 FE is also made out of metal like the S23 FE only the back is plastic. And i can tell because i am using a S21 FE as my daily driver

@@SouvikChatterjee2k The battery backup I would say is the biggest drawback of the this phone. If you are a moderate user you can get 5-6 hours of screen on time (Depends on the situation)
What about the heatinf issue? It is a serious problem?
@immortaltank7921 The heat hasn't really been a problem in my experience. But that depends on your usage, it's going to get noticeably hot while gaming and using the camera at times, but it never overheats, apart from that it's fine. And like bro said, the battery is the primary downside, apart deom that it's a GREAT phone for the price
S21 fe has an aluminium frame* and also has Gorilla glass victus in front but s23 fe has gorilla glass 5 front and back.

Let me make this quick If you have less money, your hand is fire-proof, or you love to bring charger/powerbank anywhere, then S21 FE suits you Otherwise, S23 FE is pretty good deal apart from the bezels design 👍

As someone who also has the 21fe I think there's no reason to buy the s23fe. Better wait to the next one or even the s25 Fe ( I hope ther will be one).

@otiel9165 I would say that's a downgrade if you have a S21 fe I have them both. Battery life is much better on the A54
S21 FE has metal chassis too, only his back is plastic
S23fe is amazing. Great for me,sound,camera,and dex...suits all I need, am not a gamer,looks and feels beautiful...top notch

If I was in the market for either device(right now) I would buy the S23 FE due to the fact the S23 FE will get OS and security updates after the S21 FE reaches the end of life.
And with the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE you can get an excellent package deal ($200 owing in 3 years and lower monthly costs from Telus in western Canada) *and* two more years of Android.

I've been using my old S9 with no fs left to give until recently. Just bought a S21 for 180 refurbished. I don't do nothing much with it besides basic things anyways. Will use this phone probably for at least 5 to 6 years.
I just got the S21 Fe for $200 yesterday. It looks brandnew but not refurbished, it is also snapdragon variant not the exynos one so I love it.

I have S21 FE (Snapdragon) with 8/256 gb memory. I had high expectations but the only downside is the camera both selfie and rear cams. Pictures are hit and miss, tbh. If the s23 FE pics are saturated then so as the S21 FE. Very disappointing because it's not only the color green that is saturated (in a bad way, I mean too much) but also color red, pink/fuschia pink, orange. My brother has S23 and yes pics are also saturated but not as bad as S21 FE. Bought it last year for USD 364 so I think it's still a good deal. Great feature is the display, videos are bright and vibrant. Battery is better also compared to my previous Samsung which only has 2,300 mAh. The plastic back cover is subjective, yes it does not break but it is slippery and may look cheap.
S21 FE is around $200-250 in late April 2024, depending on memory and storage size, used or refurbished. I really like the plastic back and design of S21 FE.
Here in South Africa at the same store, s21 FE is selling fir 850 USD while s23 FE is selling for 750 USD Goes to show which one is the better device

S21 Fe has a metal frame too. If I had to choose design, from the back, I'd choose S23 Fe, but on the front, those huge mid range vibes of bezels.. I'd choose S21 Fe. Looking at them every day, it would drive me nuts.
The S23FE is using the A54 5g frame. Bezels are huge and the phone is super heavy. I almost traded my s21 FE but im gonna keep it. Its light and feels good in the hands.

I’ve had S21FE thing with FE models battery was a let down. But my vote is S21FE build. S23FE is 209g bit heavy for a 6.4 size
The s23fe is a brick but the weighty glass back dissipates heat better than plastic.
I seriously like the look of the S23FE i think its 100 bucks over priced once the sales start it'll be a killer deal.
I got mine for $49 buck on Metro, I am loving it. Had the S21 FE and love that phone, didn't love the plastic back cover. the S23 FE is way better.

The problem is here: S21FE with Snapdragon 888 S23FE with Exynos 2200 S23FE cost 100€ more than S21FE
The s23 has a better haptic feedback but bad battery life all around. The screen is better on the s21 fe and the phone is lighter then the Chucky s23 FE

Switched to metro and got mine for $49.00 bucks, so I am a happy camper, love the FE editions, great value for the money, @TechtTitan, I haven't found astro photography can anyone let me know if it is capable of it? TIA, great video.

The 21 Fe will get software updates to to Android 16 because the phone came out in 2022 so go and figure if you want the actual age of the phone it's not like the S21 when they first came out because they came out at 21 and the fe came out 2022 so go and figure on that on the operating system

My s21 was manufactured in Sept 23. Runs like a champ. Doesn't overheat and my battery life isn't bad. Thought about the s23 fe but I'll probably just stick with the s21 for now.

S23 FE gets galaxy ai update, S21 FE doesn't. Also longer updates for s23 FE because it's newer.S21FE is more than halfway through it's update life.

S21 fe for the win! They should of kept the plastic back! Glass breaks way to easy! Ive had many iphones before and if u drop it, it cracks everywhere, I rather have a more durable phone than a fragile crack prone phone! So again S21 fe for the win! Don't make the wrong choice? The s23 fe is the only choice! Lol, i guess if you're just trying to save money then you could get the s21 fe. Dont know why anyone would want to buy a phone today that came out over 2 years ago. Ive had the s23 fe for a couple months and with everyday use it performs just as good as my s22 ultra. Also can't forget the years of support you're getting with the s23 fe. Only get the older phone if all you care about is saving money.
Why is everyone comparing the S23FE to a two years old phone? The real rival is the S23 or at most the S22, the S21FE is just too old to be considered going to 2024 🤷
The S21 FE is the predecessor so it’s only right to compare the S23 FE to previous gen FE device and I still think that it should be considered as a device going to 2024

For $399 the S23 FE is a no brainer. The S21 FE is only $50 cheaper at Best Buy and even the A54 is only $75 cheaper. I just picked up the 256 GB version for $459 which is a screaming deal for a brand new S class device that was released only a month ago.
In my country they sell phones, pc parts etc at double the price :) its still amazing phone

I'd argue that the S21 FE is a far better deal for half the price or less from Ebay and Amazon.

heat factor, if you are going for the s21fe, standby for occasional heating issues. otherwise its the perfect size for anyones hand. also its light. samsung has lost their marbles on s23 form factor, absolute rubbish, damn thing heavier than s21+. not to mention the bezels. if they narrowed the bezels could have been lighter and smaller as good as s23+. But I guess they figured it out, nobody would buy the s23+ or s24+ then. absolute @sses samsung, thats how they play with the market. Ultimately they would want you to end up with the + versions where the money is. If only huawei were still in the market without the ban.
