This is a great honor too Annemiek and her career to present her with this bike and this “making of” for everyone to enjoy! Happy many miles to Annemiek on this bike! - For all saying why can’t we buy such a nice paint job; maybe you should read and accept that special things are for special achievements (and people). She deserves a one of a kind. Nonetheless, if Canyon would make some limited editions, it might have people pay some extra for it. But also keep in mind that the collab bikes are usually limited editions. Customs is just not doable. If you want custom, take it apart and get it painted!
Other companies do special liveries. If someone pays more than ten grands for a bike, they also have money for a special livery and are willing to pay for it. I see Trek bikes with liveries that cost 2-4k all the time and compared to that, Canyon liveries are lacklustre at best.
I saw Annemiek at Liege Bastogne Liege after she got this new bike. While waiting patiently to ask her for a picture, I took a picture only of this bike (she was on it) 😂 It is truly a work of art
Ik was die Zaterdag erbij, wat een geweldige mooie fiets, love Canyon
Wow this is a real experience! Congratulations to the mechanic. This video is amazing! A superb bike for a super(b) rider. Thank you!
seeing that i immediately wanna go out and ride my bike. It´s 2 am in the morning...
Lovely paint job.
La mejor bici , para la mejor corredora !!!!!! Vamosssss Miek

Beautiful bike 👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥
for Annemiek van Vleuten!!!
wow!!!
This is high tech lego...❤🚲⭐️
めっちゃ、かっこいいやん
Complimenti, se facevate il video ancora piu al buio si vedeva ancora meglio.......!!!!!
Something like 🌹red Rose stone like material frame ❤🎉
Why does it have the old seat post design? Sick bike nonetheless
Because we still have some old frames in stock, we have decided to use them. It makes no difference to our riders 🙂
@@CanyonBicycles that makes sense haha no pro racer is worried about seatpost sounds 🤣
Just washed my endurance AL…. ❤️
Which bike do you want to see next? 👀
Canyon Endurace CFR or Ultimate CFR or Aeroad CFR Cosmos please❤
Everyone knows the Aeroad is an excellent bike, and in this paint job an absolute masterpiece. To answer your question: the MVDP's Aeroad in a brand new rainbow paint job with all parts weighted. Especially the frame. There are rumours that the new version of the Aeroad weighs more than the previous one. I'm particularly interested in the weight, because I’m going to build the sub 7 kilos Aeroad keeping its aerodynamic characteristics. As in any crazy weight weenie project every gram counts. ;)
We all know that SRAM Red isn't realistically worth the money to upgrade from SRAM Force. Do we? But: We all also know that no bike for Jasper Phillipson, Matthieu van der Poel or any other top-tier-male-rider would have been build with SRAM Force oder Shimano Ultegra. (I watched both of those builds & loved them) So why not make a statement for the top-tier-womans riders and treat them equally? Or am I in the wrong and this was a specific request by Annemiek? Btw: I love the look of the bike & I love the the performance of the Force Groupset.
Force has smaller hoods which might be better for smaller women hands - don't know if thats the real reason tho. Maybe the new sram red is also around the corner
@@hansgerd2934 that might be true. I don't know if mix&match is a kind of a "no-go" in this area of bike-builds. But they could've just used the Force Shifters with the rest of the groupset being red. We probably won't find out. I just think a world-champ would've/should've been worth some extraordinary effort 👸
I said the same is weird because is force but they can build with red component and put the hoods of force any way the new red is coming soon
I think her bike is already lighter than 6,8 kg with the Force groupset installed. So there is no need to install the Sram Red groupset to reduce the weight. And ... the Force 12 - speed chain will be more durable than the thinner Sram Red 12 - speed chain.
@@dirkstaudt4341 The Aeroad CFR is 7.5 kg with sram red in canyon online shop.. don't think annemieks bike is a sub 7 build..
2:06 what's that?
Why force? And not Red?
Frame size?
Will this bike on sale?
This Bike will not be available for purchase.
What is this white paste on all the thread ? Thx
This is lubricating grease 🙂
I understand the limitations of the D2C business model but they’d surely make a killing if they made these bespoke color options available to the public on the mid-tier range (SLX).
Sram Force and not Red?
New force is better then old red ...
Please put the bike on a weighing scale next time.
7.5kg around
Are you kidding?! Turning the valves to the top, crank horizontal… and leaving the chain on small chainring?😮💔
Just a standard cf slx, I don’t think you guys sell custom paint job like this. So amaze us with what we can buy.
Why the hate lmao, its a classic bike build video
@@BigIsJimmy it does sound passive aggressive now that I read it again. I just want to relate to actual product line. Often we see bike builds that we can’t opt for. A bit frustrating for me.
I love how your comment is so true to your name.
can't see the bike because of lighting
On our Instagram channel canyon_road you can find pictures of this bike. 😊 Take also a look at the Highlight "CFS Eindhoven" ✌🏽
9:01 The only good side shot of the completed bike, but in the small ring, unfortunately.
There isnt a single great shot of the whole bike in the video.
So much BS i stopped the video at 033.
SRAM Force is a decent groupset, but for this unique 👌 bike is a let down 💯
