I recently bought a new Parsun 5hp 4 stroke, the dealer told me Yamaha 4 is compatible with parts, I was sceptical until you lifted the lid & I saw my Parsun under there, thanks for showing 😎

Where is the serial number. My stickers fell off, so I am trying to find it on the engine somewhere, do you have any suggestions? I really want to order the tune up kit but I need the serial number.

Hi. Depends what year is yours. This one in video cannot be upgraded to 6hp because up to 2007 or 2008 yamaha didnt make 1 cyl 6hp 4 stroke. If your motor has white hood,then its poss to convert it to 6hp,but it is expensive. You need carb,ignition and i think its also needs different camshaft,so not economical

Usually 4,5 and 6hp engine are same weight and size. Yamaha used to make twin cylinder 6hp and thats bit heavy,but now all 6hp 4 stroke are 1cyl and weigh as much as 4hp
