  • So much respect for both players. What a treat they gave the audience. So beautiful to see Ms Osaka in happier times. I hope Ms Osaka will be able to heal up, take care, and if she feels strong enough, grant Australia the pleasure of her presence at the AO in 2022.

  • Visiting after Naomi's mental health saga, I can clearly see and hear the bias both in the camera angles and the commentator. This young lady's mental health has been affected by racism. She is representing a country that is racist against half cast and playing a country club sport that represents certain breed.

  • Congrats to Osaka on her 2nd Australian Open title! 2 years ago it would take her around 5 GAMES to regain composure (5-5 on the 2nd set to lose it 7-5 and then the following 3 games to be 2-1 in the 3rd set).... In the last SF against Serena, it only took her 1 game to re-focus on her game. You should be so proud of yourself Naomi!!

    • @@daria.morgendorffer yes it does. Petra kvitova was stabbed in December 2016 and her racket hand needed many surgeries, still to this day she can't feel the racket in her playing hand. She didn't win this match but she won something much much bigger then tennis

  • I like Osaka much but her mental state bothers me . Watching her play makes me anxious, when she is dominating the game she is cheerful to watch , but as soon as she is dominated she has this look and she just falls apart , its almost like she wants to cry , watching her in that state makes me anxious really ! She should work more on her emotions stay strong no matter the score . Oh Osaka !
