Daniel Cormier needs to do this documentary, basically sampling different wrestling styles all around the world called "perfecting the ground game", would be a nice netflix series if ufc fighters had a more personally shared journey with their training.
Cain Valasquez (DCs main training partner) actually did a documentary similar to this. look it up.
Daniel shares the same last name as my grandma❣
Excellent idea!
Yeah 1 week of training is not enough time to go up against the local champion.

Probably one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen!
I get the sense that people in Senegal and probably in many other parts of Africa are quite happy in general, or at least mentally balanced.
Zou probably have not seen much of Africa. Most of its parts are poverty and crime stricken areas without roads, railways and democratic institutions. Corruption is widespread and police does not work and save their citizens. Yes, some people are happy but most of them live in fear and without suitable nutrition.

God that was excellent. That french guy was so humble and respectful of their culture. But so was the Champion from Senegal. I love how the retired fighters became town Elders and Wise Men.
He was born there
Yes, I loved all that as well, while adding that I loved how at the same time I could sense their intense passion for their sport/martial arts. What a great documentary.
@NW Oista The french fighter was born there but moved to france when he was 3

The definition of a great warrior is a champion who goes humbly to others with a smile and an open mind to learn. I have never heard of this kick boxer, Mr. Duarte before, but he embodies this principle. I respect Mr. Duarte immensely. And the Senegalese are very intriguing. Their exuberance and happiness are striking and infectious, especially compared to us comparatively wealthy Americans who can only take things for granted and complain about 1st world problems. I would love to be able take my wife and son to visit Senegal. To experience the culture, people, and take in some Senegalese Wrestling would be life changing.
