Wonderful story. My grandfather was a Highlander of Scotland. So this is close to my heart. I miss him something trouble. Please provide more Highlands story's if you can. They have such wonderful stroy's. Thank you. It brought back such wonderful memories of him. Miss you papa.

My second time watching. l love horses and the Scottish Highland setting. Wonderful story and the actors were so genuine and caring toward others. Greed is bad but dreams are meant to keep and to make us hopeful that we can see the good and to care for the beauty of nature and to bring out the best in us. Enjoy.

I have loved horses ever since I was up on them at 3 years of age, and I truly love this movie, awesome story. Thank you for sharing this film. I just wish there were more of them, children definitely need to appreciate the environment and habitats, all the creatures on this planet. All life is sacred and precious and should be treated with dignity, respect, kindness and compassion. If humanity would do this maybe our world would be a better place to live in. This film reminds me a lot of myself in my walks in nature, but I also respected their space and never ventured too close into their space/territory, especially if I knew where they were at. This would have caused issues which they didn’t need nor did I. I learned a lot about nature, animals, their habitats and all about wildlife in general from my walks. It helped with my interest in science, archaeology and astronomy, and most of all, to keep learning more as a grew older. I really liked Furgus, he was a wise man and we sure could use more people like him. We are our planet’s caretakers, and this is why we are here. Life should be appreciated, not destroyed by greed, misguided values or ignorance. Our planet Earth is unique and abounds with countless, diverse species of life, all dependent upon the other for its survival. There is no other like it in the universe, mainly because IT IS OUR HOME, we live here and nowhere else.
The world.... And I quote'! God so loved the WORLD that He gave His Begotten Son that who should ever believe in Him will not perish., but will have everlasting life.. I'm astonished that a simple people can admire nature,, and all its wonders and neglect the Creator landscape artists of it all..

All life is connected, all are equal in God’s eyes, nothing is above the other, humanity has forgotten how to be humble and appreciate life for what it is….a miracle and wonder in itself as seen through a child’s eyes. But whether one believes in the Big Bang theory or evolution theory, or some other theories, much of which I don’t believe in, life does exist everywhere in the universe, but humanity refuses to see it or comprehend it, nor treat it accordingly with respect. The universe is also chaotic as well as orderly, existing and balanced beyond our understanding. Because of humanity’s lack of caring and destructive tendencies, one day soon our planet Earth will no longer be able to sustain the life as we know it nor us upon it, and it will become a lifeless, barren world such as Mars, unable to replenish itself. A sad ending for a world which was gifted and given to us, to grow and learn as caretakers, by a loving God.

Too well trained for his part, as a wild stallion would never let strangers get so close, even if he had developed a relationship with the old man over the years. Living so close to farms with horses he would have also rounded himself up some mares and started his own herd. Loved the old man in this tale. Scotland used to be forested, and those rolling hills would look a lot better with some trees. No land is healthy naked.

This is a wonderful movie! During most of it, I was smiling and happy, imagining myself as being there. But, when the poachers started their evil acts, I was angry and sick to my stomach! Yes, I recognized the older brother, he played a king, a crippled king. But the part he played here, he was evil and repulsive! Guess he played his part well! In my family’s heritage, we have Scottish roots. It would be great to see Scotland before my last days. ❤

Splendid beautiful movie! Super story, and true to life; full of loving and caring and goodness. But along with good there is always evil. Beware! Be ready and alert, always. For, there are always lurking devilish scoundrels around. One can gain much positive knowledge from the old as well as the young, as long as they are good people. But, like in the song by Bob Dillon: "You can serve the Devil or you can serve the Lord, but you have to serve somebody." God is love!
