I lost both of my senior cats last year, just 6 months apart. I prayed that the cat distribution system would bless me with a new fur baby. One year later, little Moon Noodles is the best tiny baby that ever happened to me. This little orange Angel kitty has healed my heart♥️🐈
I hate to be a wet blanket. I’m on the wrong side of 60 and just got what should be my last 2 kittens given my age and the up to 20 year life expectancy of cats. If I do outlive them, I will be adopting old cats from a shelter. I hope the grandchildren gifting the kittens to their grandparents offer the kittens a home when the time comes to say goodbye to their grandparent.

The happiness is apparent. Animals bring unconditional love. I have a cat and a kitten. Love them both. This gives me a trust in humans beings that the Lord has entrusted all animals to our care.

I’m very happy because this Christmas I begged for a cat but I didn’t get one, but I asked my dad if they thought of getting me one and he said no. But he said “me and your mom could see you getting one next year though”. I’m hoping my birthday is a miracle

My first kitten I got was when I moved into my first apartment. It was a calico cat. It had followed someone home and a staff at the time told me to call my mom. Of course at first she was like "No he can't have a cat" but after some convincing I had my first cat. Since then I've had two cats that I've owned. First one passed away 8 years ago

Yes. Or at least it can be. It’s not just the fees, it’s all the other things that come with pet ownership that you have to be plan for.
Adopting a cat is essentially the same as shopping for one. The only way you're getting a cat for free is if it's a stray, in which case you end up paying a lot for vet bills.
If the cats were all still from the animal shelter, then that would really be given a thumbs up. But I think that none of them are poor kittens but rather expensive ones. Ergo thumbs down!
Poor kitten at 2.05...they should not be squeezed, kissed and handled like that. That's a baby animal, NOT a toy! He was probably scared to death.
