The Town: Coroner, Investigator, Lookout, Psychic, Seer, Sheriff, Spy, Tracker, Deputy, Trickster, Veteran, Vigilante, Jailor, Mayor, Monarch, Prosecutor, Bodyguard, Cleric, Crusader, Trapper, Admirer and Amnesiac
The Neutral Apocalypse: Baker, Famine, Berserker, War, Plaguebearer, Pestilence, Soul Collector and Death
Neutral Evil: Executioner, Jester, Doomsayer, Pirate
Neutral Killing: Arsonist, Serial Killer, Shroud and Werewolf

When you prioritize achievements over winning, you're suddenly much bolder and make big plays.
interesting how tryharding less can make someone better. i win more games as NK if i go in expecting to lose than actually trying to win
@@Underworlder5that’s probably because the adrenaline after realizing you stand a chance makes you focus more. In comparison to if you go into the game ready, you become disheartened after a series of failure. Of course it could also just be cause you got lucky :/
@@Utopia7281 might be the case. i tend to go "oh, i got this role. oh well, might as well cause as much damage as possible before going down". then i realize there are four people left and i can actually win unless i get SK in which case half the town got defense and the other half is TI
@@sudegok1027 my approach to NK roles tend to be staying silent and balancing killing town and coven. if i get sussed, i just shamelessly admit my role and hope they see me as jest. openly claiming WW on day 2 is actually what got me my "acquitted on tie vote" achievement
@@Utopia7281I went into a TOS game as Necro and I was solo I knew I had no chance to win so I resurrected vampires which for some reason did nothing.

LMAO the jailor in that lookout game is just pure comedy
I know this has been ongoing for a while, but I can appreciate Coven having roles that work like ToS mafia, but even the support Coven can attack under conditions (book). For those unfamiliar, Medusa works like Mafia's Janitor role, but Janitor could never kill on it's own. Poisoner works like Consort, the mirror of Escort, which was the old Tavern Keeper. Coven Leader is an adaptation of Godfather. Voodoo is Blackmailer, but target can't vote either. Enchanter is the Framer and Forger both in one. Jinx is Ambusher, right down to being seen if there are multiple visits...
Coven getting the necronomicon is very similar to being promoted as maf in tos1 but they made it where you keep your abilities which is very cool.
@@Lord_Drogothag I also believe it’s the right way to tackle these roles. I hated mafia because the roles either sucked or I didn’t have time to do them.
@@Obsructor2 yeah the mafia roles were very weak because most of them were very situational. Then when they added the coven it made the maf the weakest faction in a game of coven all any. Unless you were graced with a godfather you were very likely to lose a game if coven was also in the round. The devs clearly learned what things worked in the first game and what didnt.
Man Kinda Sad That He Dinit Finish The TOS1 All Achievement Series
Unfortunately, those achievements seem unlikely to happen. Sometimes things have to be put to a rest.
Some of them were bugged anyways.
I think he had everything except the grindy "win X number of games" achievements, right? I thought he had all the ones about interesting game mechanics and such and just needed wins.

tbf that series would be kinda impossible with the worst pirate achievement, having to lose 10 duels in a single game 😂
Just settling down to enjoy this but I wanted to recount how I got the "haunt a CL" achievement! I used my vest n1 and got attacked by the coven. Nobody else died that night so I come out and claim arsonist, since "coven are gonna out me anyway" I might as well sell out the Coven Killing who attacked me, right? I pick someone totally at random and hard-push them as "the coven that attacked me", but of course the town hangs the "arsonist" rather than one of four coven members. I get full guiltied and take out the person who I accused of attacking me. Who actually WAS the Coven Leader the whole time! What insane luck!
Pro tip for the "see 5 people trigger your trap" achievement. Trap a dreamwoven person and usually all town visit them. Also if your trap attacks someone, you wont get any results on who triggered
That last game was nuts, enchanter played well. Their game likely crashed there tbh.

The last game made no sense for 5 to shoot you. You were confirmed seer with three different nights, one of them having an evil in it and they still shot you.
Yeah I honestly lost brain cells from the utter insanity of that last game
In a game about reading and paying attention to detail. Allot of people fail those basic checks.
And then enchanter disconnects despite mon trusting him over the tracker that afk'd the enitre game. That game was something else indeed.
Town deserved to lose but somehow still won... I mean pipe played perfect but all the others....
When you play as Jinx against Seer, you gotta see how Seer visits go. Most Seer players go on disconnected or confirmed people as one of visits while the other visit is much less predictable - it's worth considering this in future Jinx games.
Your achievement hunting videos are what got me into watching your ToS1 games, I’m definitely down for more chieve hunting videos.

I've been playing the original since 2014 and I love it. 2 has changed some old roles so it's taking me a bit to get used to. I also never played coven when it was first added so that's an adjustment.

Based on that game, illusioning ur own coven seems like the best play. Go for the protect rather than the bumfuzzle

coroner has the perk of not being affected by deception roles at the cost of being the worst tarnation TI in the game

I exed someone recently as Jailor, who claimed Tavern Keeper and that they are TK and took 15 seconds to claim in jail (i thought he's poisoner, but he actually was Tavern Keeper)

I wish you luck with this series because some of these achiecments are stupid and/or need changes (like one for hexxing death, which you can only do if death leaves the day they transform)
some of them are just pure chance. i tried going for the "have an alert veteran die to poison". i managed to poison the vet in a game without cleric, and they refused to alert just to deny me the achievement
One small Executioner achievement will be very fun to do in All Any.

Since a prosecution is considered the vote for the day, and the prosecutor is forced to guilty, yes

Town of Salem and its sequel are probably some of the most ridiculous games to get all the achievements for. 50 wins as each role is just absurd.

So the ideal play for getting the Haunt a Lover achievement is to get admired, hanged, and then haunt the person who admired you 🤔 Of course you have to trick the admirer into admiring you and also trust that they said to someone confirmed “if I’m silenced tomorrow X is evil” And also hope the admirer doesn’t get killed before you can haunt them
but admirer would know you are jester and vote innocent so...

Chasing down all the arso achievements myself 3 wins away from 25 arso wins.
Did 11 in the last game faked being attacked, even leaving death note as calling himself immune and then ragequit or am i trippin
1:50:48 it’s CRAZY to me that that invest was legit, they were acting so evil from the moment they asked 11 for their actual role instead of alignment and were so pushy about it, to just the way they typed their will too, I was almost certain they had to be NE
You know...i wonder if Executioner can kill the awakened horsemen (War, Pestilence, Famine, Death), only way to surefire test it would be a situation where you have 4 people alive, an example being 2 town, a Horseman and an Exe, one of the towns gets upped, exe and horseman guilties and townie innos, so only the horseman can be a target of the exe's effect from getting their win, which makes me wonder would it kill the horseman or fail?
torment cannot kill a transformed horseman. one of pipes videos (forgot which) shows that exact scenario happening. the game glitched out and cinematic showed executioner killing a default avatar and name
