It also measures the scale of someone’s feats compared to another one (for instance, 1 mercenary who’s been fighting rebels for 50 years may not necessarily be as experienced as an elite SAS member who’s been fighting elite intelligence officers and PMC’s for only about 5 years). The SAS soldier has been fighting for less *time*, but given how he’s been fighting people way more capable than the other soldier and has likely gained more knowledge and practicality for the occasion, he’s technically more experienced. Even if he hasn’t been fighting for as long, he’s way more efficient and advanced and would definitely be capable of fighting rebels for 50 years or even longer.

I don't think you know enough about Sam to judge. Snake has always been shown to struggle without getting help from someone in the field. Sam has always been the only one in the field, plus he's much faster, smarter and more durable. Also if you compare them climbing, Sam is much faster. Fall damage, Sam wins again. In all of the games of Metal Gear Solid, they get caught one way or another. Just to escape or be freed or given the solution on a platter. Snake is a just a normal soldier in comparison to his 'brothers' and the closest to Big Boss for that reason. Sam could do what Snake is doing, easily. I'm surprised people don't know more about Sam actually and I encourage you to open your minds a bit.

Big Boss prevented a 500 ton robot from crushing him. He beat Quiet in a sniper duel who was able to shoot a moving fighter jet pilot in the head so he gets aim. He has an IQ of around 180 or higher based on Solid Snake's. He was trained by the Boss whereas Fisher got standard army training. He lived to 79 which is older than Fisher in Blacklist at around 68 so he gets experience as well. He can disarm and takedown up to 6 men at once compared to Fisher who is easily pushed away by one enemy. I love Splinter Cell, but even considering putting Sam Fisher against these borderline comic book characters is stupid.

Pushed by the enemy? Are you nerfing him or stating that as in-game? Because i read that he even defeated 2 guys in a cover SIMULTANEOUSLY without a gun. That's actually in his one of his dealings with the Mafia. But i know Sam has an edge in Stealth, yeah. But against someone who is really a Super Soldier with a stronger hand to hand combat, Sam loses in this one. Sam may be above average in terms of human peakness but anyone like Big Boss or Solid Snake can only make Sam as "enjoy the meal" type of enemy. Sam can hold it longer but there's no way Sam can win against them.

Gotta add to Big Boss's feats (not Venom)that he, at 79 disarmed Old Snake by tricking it just before dying. That's enough proof he's a monster to be reckoned if we forget he also destroyed more Metal Gear prototypes than Solid ever did. This video is bullcrap and the creator's bias are ill informed. I love Sam Fisher, but is like comparing Xiaolin Showdown with Avatar. Both great, different power scales based on their different realities.

Venom Snake is more deadly in hand-to-hand combat but Sam Fisher is more stealthy. So even though I don't think Sam could be Venom Snake in open combat, he might have a chance if Venom Snake doesn't know where he is.

Sam wins cuz Sam Fisher: Was Not Built With An Expiration Date Sam Fisher, being a normal human being, ages the way most people do, only he no doubt slows the process through extensive physical training and a healthy diet. Snake was built with an expiration date, which is the reason for his advanced aging in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Take Snake and Sam both in their mid-40s, and Fisher has an obvious upper hand.

Sorry, MGS fans, but this is accurate Sam Fisher Has More Maneuvers In His Skill Set Part of Metal Gear Solid's genius is the relative simplicity in its stealth mechanics. This shines particularly well in Metal Gear Solid 4 and afterwards, where most maneuvers are accomplished with the press of a button. Sam Fisher, however, has more abilities in his skill set, such as the ability to suspend himself in a corridor using only his legs propped against the wall. With this in mind, he perhaps would have an easier time sneaking around Snake.

Most of the time, the United States would have to deny any involvement were Sam to find himself caught by the enemy. However, in this case the fight would probably be sanctioned by all parties involved, meaning Sam could call on the help of the biggest military in the world if he was in a real bind. All Snake has is Otacon and his gadgets, which are no small thing, but still less of an advantage than a whole army.

Sam Fisher He Would Do Anything To Accomplish The Mission Sam Fisher has indeed done some terrible things for the sake of ensuring a successful mission. In Splinter Cell: Double Agent, he even potentially kills his best friend, Irving Lambert, to keep his cover intact. After putting a bullet through a beloved colleague without so much as being able to say sorry, he would no doubt do anything within his power to put down Solid Snake if it were his mission.

Sam Fisher slays Snake because Fisher has family to fight for. Solid Snake has a family, but anyone who played the Metal Gear games knows they are not close and have some issues to work through. Sam Fisher, on the other hand, has a daughter who he loves dearly. She was even thought to be dead for a while, throttling sam into a deep depression, which shows just how much she means to him.

Training and Gun Skills goes to (V) Snake. Venom has been trained by Big Boss in their Man Made Military Nation. In their Military Nation they accept all sorts of missions such as liberators and terrorists and deployed to all kind of terrains. Fisher is infiltrating Urban Areas while Venom can infiltrate and exfiltrate in both Urban and Jungle Areas. Venom is as good as Naked Snake, someone who destroyed a Weapons of Mass destruction while dealing with infantries. IQ should also go with Venom.He has commanding skills, he's an army Medic, and his knowledge is as good as Big Boss plus he eventually will be multilingual to perfectly act as Big Boss' Copy.

Finally someone gets it. I'm glad Sam Fisher won. snake is straight up & literally dead now in his franchise. while Fisher is still alive & well. he's advanced up & has more feats & experiences since blacklist too & has been making lots of cameos & appearances in other games you wouldn't think Fisher would be on.

Could go either way but I’m obviously rooting for Fisher. I have since read the SC novels and they give him some incredibly solid feats. He breaks bones effortlessly with his attacks and consistently uses pressure points even against named skilled fighters. Sams armor is also superior, from moderate range he can barely even feel assault rifle gunfire hitting his legs.

I don't think you know enough about Sam to judge. Snake has always been shown to struggle without getting help from someone in the field. Sam has always been the only one in the field, plus he's much faster, smarter and more durable. Also if you compare them climbing, Sam is much faster. Fall damage, Sam wins again. In all of the games of Metal Gear Solid, they get caught one way or another. Just to escape or be freed or given the solution on a platter. Snake is a just a normal soldier in comparison to his 'brothers' and the closest to Big Boss for that reason. Sam could do what Snake is doing, easily. I'm surprised people don't know more about Sam actually and I encourage you to open your minds a bit.

Big Boss prevented a 500 ton robot from crushing him. He beat Quiet in a sniper duel who was able to shoot a moving fighter jet pilot in the head so he gets aim. He has an IQ of around 180 or higher based on Solid Snake's. He was trained by the Boss whereas Fisher got standard army training. He lived to 79 which is older than Fisher in Blacklist at around 68 so he gets experience as well. He can disarm and takedown up to 6 men at once compared to Fisher who is easily pushed away by one enemy. I love Splinter Cell, but even considering putting Sam Fisher against these borderline comic book characters is stupid.
Pushed by the enemy? Are you nerfing him or stating that as in-game? Because i read that he even defeated 2 guys in a cover SIMULTANEOUSLY without a gun. That's actually in his one of his dealings with the Mafia. But i know Sam has an edge in Stealth, yeah. But against someone who is really a Super Soldier with a stronger hand to hand combat, Sam loses in this one. Sam may be above average in terms of human peakness but anyone like Big Boss or Solid Snake can only make Sam as "enjoy the meal" type of enemy. Sam can hold it longer but there's no way Sam can win against them.
Gotta add to Big Boss's feats (not Venom)that he, at 79 disarmed Old Snake by tricking it just before dying. That's enough proof he's a monster to be reckoned if we forget he also destroyed more Metal Gear prototypes than Solid ever did. This video is bullcrap and the creator's bias are ill informed. I love Sam Fisher, but is like comparing Xiaolin Showdown with Avatar. Both great, different power scales based on their different realities.

Venom Snake is more deadly in hand-to-hand combat but Sam Fisher is more stealthy. So even though I don't think Sam could be Venom Snake in open combat, he might have a chance if Venom Snake doesn't know where he is.

Could go either way but I’m obviously rooting for Fisher. I have since read the SC novels and they give him some incredibly solid feats. He breaks bones effortlessly with his attacks and consistently uses pressure points even against named skilled fighters. Sams armor is also superior, from moderate range he can barely even feel assault rifle gunfire hitting his legs.
Breaking bones are cool and all but Snakes are super soldiers. Big Boss: Takes a beat down from a man who can punch through tanks and then beats him up in revenge. Venom: Can out match Quiet up close despite Quiet being able to throw arrow soldiers with one harm effortlessly and being quick enough to snipe a fighter jet pilot mid-flight. Liquid Snake: Gets shot with a barrage of rockets to the face and proceeds to walk it off and have a fist fight. Solidus Snake: Big Boss perfect clone Solid Snake: Dodges _railguns_ and walks through a microwave hallway.
