Thanks so much for watching, everyone.
I named my son Jj Redick can I get a like?
Please stop talking in the beginning of your interviews
Rondo is an INTJ
@@tylergriffith2230shut up. We love JJ
@@tylergriffith2230aye yeah what up with that 🤣🤣🤣🤣 i always skip thru it but it is funny somebody else pointed that out
Rondo always will be one of my Favorite Point Guards. He was so so so Unique and could really make an impact every way.
Definitely! Rondo knew his role and didn't try to be more than what he was unless he needed to be. He could score if he needed to but was cool with playing defense and passing. Was a crafty rebounder as well. Every night he was a walking triple double threat, but didn't chase the stats.
100%. Rondo is one of those players that you can put on any team and they will get better. Was never the best scorer, but he will give you elite playmaking, elite defense, and smart overall basketball that will make everyone better
yes! love rondo
I feel like Rondo being your favorite point guard is a personality trait 🤣 so many people feel the same way. That 08 Celtics team broke the nba and a 24 year old was the point guard with no experience, no nothing and he looked like the wisest, highest IG player on the best team. Great time to be a ball fan.
One of th best
I love how when JJ literally says: “You were just f*cking annoying”, and Rajon doesn’t even react - not a chuckle, not a polite smile, no smirk. He just agrees.
Cause he knows he was doing is job
Just two Dallas Mavs legends chopping it up. Love to see it!
Dallas GOAT Rondo
I totally forgot JJ’s Mavs career 😅
LOL I'm dead
lmao
yooo GOAT comment 😂😂
Hopefully, Rondo gets a chance to be a head coach one day in the NBA. A great mind like his should never go to waste.
Jason Kidd got a chance, Rondo should also 😎
Rondo vs Chris Paul coaching would make good stories ESPN wise
A COLLEGE BASKETBALL TEAM SHOULD SIGN RONDO FOR AST COACH OR SUM
Rondo head coach along side LBJ would be cool
@@lilHippo beef history part 2 between those two in the making lol
Rondo's impact was 48 minutes. Truly always locked in from the bench. He changed the NOLA squad and showed that Jrue's true position was at the 2.
That team could have been soooo good if Boog was healthy
@@aamirkhuller6277 boog was healthy when they got swept vs the warriors though
he wasn't@@Book.of.Treason
he went from average guard to one of the best in the game, Rondo really made him better
@@Book.of.Treasonboogey tore his Achilles in February so nope he wasn't on the court during that warriors-pelicans series
Will never forget Rondo's performance for the broken Bulls in the playoffs, that will to win is unmatched.
Also swept the Blazers when he was on Pelicans. So many underrated playoffs
also back to the floor in a playoff game with an dislocated elbow
I remember that he was in demon mode man
His playoff run with AD on the Pelicans too. I remember being so hyped for AD after that run thinking he’ll finally gets some help next season and start competing. And that was the offseason that they went out and signed Boogie too i believe. Cant really remember but it was a hell of a run for AD and Rondo
@@DongSuLong Bro they looked so cohesive I remember that too Rondo was special
My name is Levon Kendall not Jason :) and I only had 40pts on you guys :P Was a pleasure to play against you both and kudos on the great careers!!
Fun fact Rondo is 1 of 2 players in NBA history to win a ring with the Lakers and Celtics. #pointGOD
I thought he was the only player to do so
Minneapolis in the 50s? Doesn't count.
Rondo set trippin with them green and yellow rags
@@ComaAlpha same franchise. of course it counts
Won both the teams their 17th title. Seems destined.
Only thing this channel missing is time stamps great show
Seriously, how hard is it to make timestamps?
😂😂
@@thsu8🤣🤣🤣
Rondo is one of my favorite point guards ever. He used to stress me out in his prime in Boston but I love how authentic his game is and his intellect that he brings. Future HOF easily.
Rondo so underrated throughout his career ong
Rondo is one the best guests ever to be on the show. Great episode!
🎉😂❤
Rondo is my favourite point guard of all time, I used to watch him as a little kid when he played for Boston and remembering how beautifully he played the game, how he would dive for every ball, go for any steal, completely lock up his opponents on the court. He would make the craziest passes, his style of play had so much swagger to it all while he so quiet at the same time. having such a big impact all while not being the top scorer of each game. I loved his style of play so much I remember trying to play like him, I was a short kid 4’9” in middle school didn’t make the basketball team, I couldn’t shoot or score the basket if my life depended on it😂 When I got to highschool I grew a little taller not much to 5”4 and I tried out for the team, still couldn’t shoot the best but I made it finally. Although I was shortest player on team I was fast and I was agile, shifty. my defence was my top priority, I boxed out every play offensively or defensively, played hard on defensive I was the most annoying defensive player like because I was reading passes and often disrupting plays causing loose balls (which I dove for everytime), I had the most steals on the team and disruptions and I was never a starter. In my last year my team won our city championship because I boxed out and secured a rebound against the best and most athletic player on the opposite team who towered over me. We were tied up heading into the final seconds of the 4th , that rebound led to an inbound pass that scored the final shot of the game. Thank you Rondo, without your inspiration I would have never made that team and experienced something like that without it. I wish you played with lebron one more year after that chip,‘your impact on that Celtics chip was huge and it was huge for the 2020 laker chip, a damn legend. HOFer, has a ring for the 2 organizations with the most championships in the NBA and nba rivals, one of my favourite PG of all time the behind the back fake pass layup package was unstoppable ,
On a real note.. great yo have you back. J.J. you are obviously one of the best out there, always coming with great content and analysis.
Thanks for watching
@@JJRedickI bet money you ain't JJ

Rajon is the man, I miss his game so much . so UNDERRATED for me defs top 75 player all time 💯
Top 75 of the 21st century no doubt
Top 15 PG all time
Jeff Teague needs an Episode! I know for a FACT this would be one of the funniest videos & it’d be pretty interesting hearing about their moments on the court too.
facts
As a celtic fan and 2010 finals heartbreak still fresh, this is GOLD. Cant wait
As a laker fan who lives with that 2008 loss. I’m glad we feel the same pain lol

@@factreid9224Same, bro.
One of the GOAT PGs. I remember Rondo playing in the Finals with his left hand against Kobe.
JJ we need D Rose! Chicago Legend. Rose and Rondo will forever be my 2 favorite pgs
Thank you for interviewing one of my all time fav PGs. I can't wait to listen in on this convo. I'm pumped
Massive W. Rondo is my favorite point guard of all time. Unreal player. I hope he gets in the Hall of Fame
It really feels like these two really enjoyed talking and really respect eachother. One of my fav episodes
Rondo was the player that made me fall in love with basketball! Every time he touched the ball, I felt like something good was going to happen. Glad to watch this episode!
This is one of JJ’s best interviews ever!!! Salute to #9 Rondo, one of the most underrated & best all around PG’s ever!! A point god for sure!!!
I used to hate on rondo way back, but he quickly earned my respect and will always be one of my favourite pgs. That epic bulls vs Celtics series was insane!
Bring back Rondo! His insight on the game is amazing. Love to hear more
Rondo made me realize you can impact the game more than scoring and passing respect to a legend
I remember watching Rondo as a rookie and it’s so crazy to think he’s 16 years in. He impacted the game in so many ways
Great memories watching Rondo play over the years. A True Leader. He will make a Great Coach one day.🏀
People forget when the big 3 left him in Boston his stats was like Westbrooks triple Double
less scoring but even more dimes
No it wasn’t lol y’all hate the great Russell Westbrook fool a 30 pt triple double is not the same please stop stupid narratives
Thankyou for dropping the full ASAP !
I'm very satisfied with the content of this video, nice to hear you up and healthy it appears JJ, What an honour to see my Point God Rondo,... Big Up!
My big brother made me watch Rondo vs Rose a million times. One of the greatest battles in NBA history. I can't believe it didn't come up in this interview. Rondo is going to make basketball 'The Sweet Science' like boxing.
We back with a legend Ragin Rondo let's get it. 1 of my favorite pgs of all time with rod Strickland j kidd and Tim Hardaway
Severely underrated as a player. It was frightening to see how good he was when he started to come into his own with Boston. Can you picture him with the Celtics now?
He's actually the perfect fit and is exactly what they need, but Brad Stevens soured the relationship...
Championship!!! That kind of point guard is what we r missing
2x Champ Rajon Rondo🏆🏆 🏁
RONDOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! ALWAYS BEEN MY FAV PLAYER EVER AFTER FINALLY FINALLY GETTING TO HEAR HIM SPEAK IN DEPTH HE’S MY UNDENIABLE PG GOAT NOW
Rondo is the reason i got into basketball and also the reason im a Celtics fan. One of my all time favorite players.
This is an amazing episode, anybody that wants to learn from a beautiful basketball mind needs to watch this.. Great interview💯👊🏾
The guy that got me into basketball. Rondo will always be my favorite player.
Rondo may have quit on my mavs and coach Carlisle, but man he is still one of my favorite PG's of all time. Gritty, high IQ, insane wing span and hand size, highlight reel passing & ball fakes, tenacious defender, was doing the triple doubles before it became trendy. Now helping as a coach at Kentucky.
This was one of the coolest interviews ive ever seen. Im a happy celtics fan right now
About time y’all back
love it JJ always great to hear the insight y’all got for us…helping all of us improve though this
JJ you def one of my favorite players of all time. But my boy Rondo - might just be my favorite player growing up. Only can imagine how much more you two seperatley could of accomplished if it wasnt for unlucky injuries. But regardless - you two are still complete success stories; and impacted the game of Basketball in your own rites. Jah Bless.
I loved the interview JJ. I have been a Celtic fan since 1970. Rondo is one of my favorite players along with so many other Celtics players. My enjoyment in your interview came from not hearing the usual fluff tiff. I also wanted you to be a Celtic JJ. Damn good interview.
Will always be one of my favorite players. The Avery Bradely Rondo backcourt was so much fun to watch.
Court vision, control of the pace of the game and sees a play even before it happens . A genuine point guard.
Great conversation with one of my all time favorites. Thank you JJ!
I absolutely loved rondo at Kentucky you could tell he would be a special player in the league he was one of those pgs that made you want to be a better passer regularly games in college and the league he would get 20 plus assist often
Great interview. Great to have the best podcaster back interviewing an intelligent and articulate player.
man you can just see how attentive and thoughtful rondo is in his eyes-- the guy seems hell bent to answer every question as thoughtfully and truthfully as he possibly can. clearly a very smart guy.
One of my favorite players, prime Rondo was an animal. Later in his career he always found some way to contribute and change games, born winner.
amazing interview!! Loved rondos game for 15 years , now I understand why
Rondo the legend! Watching the episode right away
THERE HE ISSS! He's back! One of the best out there doing it 💪 Welcome back JJ

I love basketball because it’s a thinking man’s game. This particular show is your best work yet in my humble opinion
When I played basketball, Rondo was the guard I played like. All mental. I know what it's like playing basketball with that pure mindset
One of the 🐐’s imo. Great interview

I could sit here all day and listen to this man dissect the game. Truly an amazing basketball mind.
Ayyyy such good news to have this in the background to ease my mind during work. My mind was already at ease but ya know what I mean
Love em or hate em, you gotta respect tf outta Rajon. Real legend in his own right.
2 of my favorite players growing up in the late 2000s!

My favorite. Hooper. Ever. Love you for this JJ
Rondo, my favorite PG ever, and with KG passion for the game, the reason I'm a Boston Celtics fan!
Loved watching Rajons career
Coach Rondo!!! The legend player.
One of my favorite players of all time. Him, Kobe, and KD are players that I pay attention to the most on how they approach the game through interviews. In a weird and cringey way I like taking some of their approaches in implement in my life or at my job.
My favorite player growing up man, great podcast JJ. Cheers to great season
I’m from Boston y’all don’t know how much we love this guy 9 💯
Favorite player of all time. I watched that 2010 run and each series he had big moments. The fakeout on Bron where he scooped it back around to TA, the hustle loose ball/shake score on Jwill in Orlando, and all his heroics in the Finals, matching up with Kobe. Then 10 years later he wins a game in TD garden as a Laker 🤦🏼♂️😂 I was turnt up anyway when I realize who hit it. One of the greats fasho
Thank God One Man & the Three are back, order has been restored
This is gonna be fire, def checking this out when I’m free
Great content learned a lot 👍
Rondo has been my favorite point guard for a long time!!. UNDERRATED IS A UNDERSTATMENT
Out coach the coach, brilliant. Great interview. 🤘🤘
Rondooo 🙌👌🔥
To have "differences" with a fellow HOF PG and still being able speak on his name in high regards... Great interview and a NEEDED perspective from an all-time great.
