Stacey Abrams is dedicated and tough and has worked tirelessly to see justice. However the new voter suppression laws the Republicans are putting in place in many states, including Georgia, are going to make sure their candidates win. Everyone of voting age must get involved and get others involved or our democracy will end the next election.

I've looked closely at Ted Cruz, Matt Gaetz, and even Trump, but Mitch McConnell... He is different. He is the only one, in the entire US Government, who genuinely enjoys being evil. He's the only one who actively takes pleasure in the suffering of others, his party or not.

There needs to be a set limit on how long you can be in the house and senate. Presidents only get 2 terms, then why do senators get unlimited terms? Mitch McConnell is just the example of this!
Geriatric Alzheimer senator Diane Feinstein is another example. Then you have justices on Supreme Court til they die as another problem. If your mind is telling you one thing is reality and the world is telling another.....it's time to hang it up. Term limits are indeed in order for these "civil servants"

Term limits for all positions is one of those "common sense laws" that unfortunately USA seems to be lacking. what can you possible give in 20-30 years of service? two terms and that's it. Make room for someone else to leave their mark. It would be a lot harder to buy a politician if you know they are going to be changed in 8 years. (specially that there is a lot of congressman/senates)
And I don’t think they should be making 174K per year. They work Tuesday to Thursday unless called in and only work a total of 4 months per year. They want to cut spending, well let’s start at the top.

In my native country - just one of those moves and his political career would have been over. He is creepy on so many political levels that it's impossible to name them all.

@@VV-ck7hw Well actually not. I am European. I do live outside of my native country, but that is because I am married with a man from another a European country. Both of which are politically at better place than US, even if my husbands country is a bit too flaring with tempers on that public stage - lol - to my taste that is. In my native country politician turning his coat on his promises the way that man in the video has done would indeed make his career suffer. That said - I got some few US -citizen relatives and as we keep close contact I keep my eye on what goes on there. That said, they are thinking about educating their kids back in old country cause it's free all the way to university there - or generally at least a lot cheaper given that they would be from outside of EU unless they literally move. So who knows, maybe some of them will end up returning. Idk what you were mumbling about.

He probably read it wrong as well since Italians actually have two words to describe Machiavellian actions: the traditional definition of the word used in the US and other countries (ie. Cunning, Shreed and unscrupulous) and another word that is more about cunning in the form of irony and subtlety which he used to try to keep the democracy he loved together while rich aristocrats were tearing it down. OSP did a wonderful video on Machiavelli that you should check out to see what beliefs and thoughts Machiavelli held

In part, because Kentucky has been one of the poorest & least educated population groups in its entire history, relative to all other States. That is a very true statement. Our democracy and freedom is at the greatest risk of loss since reconstruction after the Civil War. If any seat in the House or Senate falls to the party of trump we are in grave danger.
