The semi finals match between Portugal and England was supposed to be played at Goodison Park, midway into the journey and already in the bus, the Portuguese team were surprised by the news that the match was now taking place at Wembley. Almost arriving in Liverpool the Bus was turned around to London and most of the players didnt even sleep more than 2-3 hours in their rooms, England knew that in a fair match their Home World Cup run would be terminated by the superior Portuguese team, Nobby Stiles only managed to man mark Eusebio, because Eusebio was completly drained, as most of the team, dont forget that at this time there were no substitutions, if you get a player injured you play with 10 men, no exceptions, the starting eleven always played the full 90 minutes.

To mention that at the time he didn't play against San Marino, Andorra etc... At the time all the teams were pretty even. He had several injuries that would end any average player's career in a minute. I'm sure that if would play nowadays he would be better than Ronaldo. The strength, the dribble, the shooting power the magic...they don't lie. Just appreciate it.
