  • Did it have a tail? I'm pretty sure it was a Mountain Beaver (Aplodontia rufa) also known as a boomer. Common critter in the western coastal woods, BC, WA, OR & CA...

  • I imagine most of these big trees are air lifted out of the bush because of limited access. Does the helicopter have a 'spotter' or do you GPS the co-ordinates as you cut down these large trees ? Does the helicopter have its own grappling system of does someone have to be on the ground to attach the trees to the lifting system ?

    @RLee-zs1ds@RLee-zs1dsАй бұрын
    • Someone will come in and mark the logs that fly.some of it is by grapple and sometimes there is ground crew that sets chokers.some hellis have two pilots one to spot the other flys the machine.search some other videos there’s lots

      @polarlab113@polarlab113Ай бұрын
    • When he first started this unit he said there was going to be a yarder running grapples on this one. He was explaining in this video that there was going to be a road punched in so that definitely means it's going to be a yarder.
