  • I have been to golden temple this year. From railway station to gurdwara there is a free bus service. Inside gurdwara you have bathing and changing facilities for free.Cloak room to keep your luggage for free. And of course 24×7 langar. I was just surprised how much they provide for free without any discrimination of cast, creed or religion. I have been to many big temples but never seen such kind of service anywhere. 🙏🙏 wagah border ceremony is just awesome. Aap desh bhakti mein leen ho jayenge. Jo announcer hota hai wo sabko Josh mein la deta hai.

    • Mandiron mein bhi langar chalta hai or baad mein saara chadhawa government ke paas chala jata hai, mandir provide hi kya krwa dein tumhe or kis so called 'dalit' ko mandir se bhaga diya han?

  • Never take hotels near Queens Road or Railway station...Always take hotel near Golden Temple since that is where all the raunak, Market and peace is. Also, you will be saving money in Taxi and auto if you stay near Golden Temple, there are many cheap options nearby. Also, Govindgarh fort should be visited in evening as there is an excellent light and sound show, though arrange your taxi in advance if you plan to stay late there. You also missed the famous Kesar ka dhabha... Amritsar trip is never complete without visit to this gem.

    • @@amrutathamke8587 There are many hotels you can see on google but the one I stay at is Lucky Guest House which is right at the front of Golden temple...will cost you sround 1000 bucks...if you can shed some extra money then you can try Hotel CJ International as well ( will cost you around 1500 to 2000 bucks) ...but pls note that these hotels are right at Golden Temple so autos and cars won't go there so you would have to walk a bit for around 200-500 meters approx...but in my opinion having a hotel this close will give you access to all the famous places at walking distances like Jalia Wala Bagh, Golden Temple, Hall Bazaar (for shopping), Partition museum etc. so would be saving on taxi costs coz you are right at the middle of all the landmarks.
