How to grow pineapple from crown to harvest-Part 1 ( 0-9 months)

There is a continuity on this video until harvest...Remember to check out the Part 2 - • How to grow pineapple ...
Take heart. Growing pineapple requires lots of patience because it grows very slowly. The good part is very hardy and does not need much care or have any pest-related issues. I have made a video showing the growth rate of seeds vs the crown method in this Part 1. Remember to check out part 2 as well...both videos took more than a year to complete!!

  • This is just Part 1 only and a lot of people felt the video was incomplete, but please check out Part 2. Part 2 will show the continuity of the same exact plant in the same exact pot until harvest just like the thumbnail picture. Here is the Part 2 link kzhead.info/sun/a7iJdrVobGWqjWg/bejne.html

  • I had no idea those things in the fruit were the seeds. Thanks for the tip. Time for me to get busy and fill my greenhouse with these. There are always people wanting pineapple plants. You don't need to root them in water. I twist the crown off the pineapple, remove the lower leaves, and it goes straight into a 1 gallon nursery pot and in my greenhouse (to keep the wind from blowing it over. South Texas is very windy).

ALTHOUGH I live in the NorthEastern U.S., and I DID actually attempted before, but failed after the dirt pot step, as it grew fungus sadly, about half a year of attempting to grow it, and failed. But hopefully it does not happen this time!!!! (Also do not got fertilizer, but I believe it will still grow, just it'll take longer time and less likely chance of flowering. But I do not mind.) Good luck, everyone!!!!
