This is the first episode in my exclusive new interview series, State of Inspiration. I’m so humbled to have featured one of the world’s leading executives and philanthropists, Bill Gates. In this interview, we focused on the secondary problems that have arisen due to COVID-19, primarily food insecurity, education (remote learning), and unemployment.
We tackled several of these issues and discuss what is needed to mitigate these devastating problems until the strain from COVID-19 eases and America can get back to a new normal.

It’s Stephen Curry’s channel so I believe Curry’s team set this up to be on Zoom. Although, Bill has all the power to impose the usage of his own app but that makes it a little bit political rather than informative. I believe they set this up very well.

I too was impressed with this platform, and his mindful interview questions. I felt like I was in my living room hearing this incredible exchange. It is hard to overcome any preconceived notions that athletics aren’t articulate. Another lesson for us all. Optimism has always spurned progress. Yeah Steph, thanks.
Most athletes aren't very articulate, there is nothing wrong with that. Hell, many people in society aren't very articulate. Even some of the most brilliant minds don't really know how to breakdown what is going on in their minds in a way that the general public will understand.

Thank you a lot for this video. I have been interviewing since 2018 when I left my contract job with Electronic Arts since graduating from LSU in 2017. I have not found a career since graduating from college besides the contract position I had previously. My time since then has been with many interviewing. I have had job offers, but decline them because they did not meet up to my expectations. I am currently interviewing now, so the questions that were asked and answered were highly relatable and informal. The career I am interviewing for seems promising as well. Also, thanks for the information on COVID-19. This was another informal case. I had COVID-19 a few months ago. It wasn’t life-threatening. Just minor symptoms. I was wearing a mask everywhere I went, but received it by touch doors and knobs when I went somewhere went with other people and not washing my hands or applying hand sanitizer immediately after contact. This is another way the virus could spread easily. Most people do not know this at all, even after taking extreme safety measures against the virus. Thank you again for the video.

The mock interview was very insightful. I consider myself a good interviewee, but damn Bill's answers killed it. Considering he probably has never needed to interview for a job ever since he started Microsoft he was probably giving answers he did when he was in high school doing freelance work.
People need to watch his documentary on Netflix. Yes he's extraordinarily smart and humanitarian but how he was raised and grew up shaped who he became too. It's important that our kids and future generations see and understand that. Building character is as important.

Enjoyed listening to this interview/analysis, informative and concise. However, the jumpy, back and forth format was very hard to watch. Split screen may have made it more engaging for me.
